Black with White (Loolaalee)

Yami listened intently to everything that he said. "You said before you go wherever the wind takes you...what d-did you mean by that?" Yami replied by saying "It's kinda a metaphor. I go wherever I feel like something could happen, or sometimes I just wander around from village to village, selling game that I shoot. She answered, then recalled him stuttering as he asked the question, and feeling that there was some deeper meaning to it, she asked W-why do you ask?

"well...i guess that means you don't have a family," he said ," if i may can i ask what happened to them?" he was looking into her eyes and he couldn't handle but to blush.

Yami turned away, feeling her face turn red as well. When she turned back, she said, with a sigh, "Ok, I will tell you. But forgive me if I start crying part of the way through. My father wandered into a forest near my home called the Ancestor's Forest. Most of the time, when people go into this forest, they go insane. When my father came out, he murdered my mother." Yami stopped, as the tears were coming to her eyes, to blink them out. After he killed my mother, he came after me. I was hiding in my room, looking around desperately for a way to escape death. The only thing I had was a small bow, hardly a tool for killing, unless shot straight to the heart. And that's exactly where I hit my father. I ran for help, and my uncle told me to flee the village, for fear of prosecution from the others who lived there. I left my cousin and his family behind, who are now dead, all except for one. It all happened when I was only six years old.

"i'm sorry for reminding, Yami..." he said trying to think of a way to comfort her, he didn't know what to tell her or what to do, there was a long silence. then Drago remembered something, " Oh no, I just remember, most Inns are going to close at this time! I'll show you the surprise tomorrow I promise," he said giving a wink then started walking back to the city's center.

Yami was frustrated that Drago had dragged her all this way, and ended up not showing her whatever it was that he wanted to show her. Instead, they were just on their way back to the city center to find an Inn. She just shrugged, thinking that something like this was unavoidable. Then a thought occurred to her, and she said "So what's your backstory like? How did you end up here, being persecuted by all of these people?

"Bounty hunters don't have a good reputation to begin with, however one of the reasons is that i have... i have a curse mark on my face which appear when i fight," he said with a sigh,"but i have been also know to have a high priced head in the black market so many head hunters are trying to find me and kill me. that's the main reason people stay away from me." he continued walking with her hold her hand, "As for my life story it's a bit different...i think i told you before that i was thrown out of my house only a few months old, i surprisingly survived death at that age, i was a beggar on the streets and noble's children and even children of peasants used to hit me and torture me. i turned fire bender by my self by reading scrolls. and then at the age 7 i left my village and trained and you can see now that i'm in better shape than i was years ago...i'm the fifteenth highest ranked bounty hunter in the Light kingdom." he said proudly, but not in an arrogant way. "but  i still have a long way to go to achieve my goal."

Yami paused, thinking over what Drago had just said. A curse mark? Sounds...creepy, she thought. As she was pondering this, they arrived at the inn and got waited for somebody to talk to about renting a room for the night. Then Yami asked, What kind of goal is that? Do you really want to become the greatest bounty hunter in the world? Or is there something else that you have always dreamed of doing or becoming? She waited patiently for an answer, letting him think about the question for a bit.

When Drago entered the Inn he let go of Yami's hand, of course he didn't want to people to think that he's dating someone, at least not yet.He talked to the owner and asked for two rooms, he gave them two keys and Drago gave the man the price for the night. while they were going to their rooms he said to Yami, "well don't laugh at me if i tell you this but, what you said earlier isn't my main goal...its much more harder to attain... my goal is to become a noble," he was ready to be laughed at and made fun of. he knew it was a goal hard to attain, and was laughed at many time be cause of it.

Yami just stared at him, then said, "I'm not going to laugh at you for that. I think it's great to have a dream, cuz then you have something to pursue." Yami kept walking and took one of the room keys from Drago, then said. "My dream is to see the world, to meet new people, to see this beautiful place that we live in, and never go back home again." Yami walked up to her door and unlocked and opened it.

Drago smiled at Yami, "thanks," he said unlocking his door, and opening it, "well goodnight Yami, see you tomorrow" he said to her before he entered his room and locked the door. his room was right next to Yami's as he closed the door behind him he collapsed on the floor and said quietly to himself, "if i stay one more second with her my head will get set on fire," he said blushing. he put his hand on his chest still feeling his heart beating rapidly.
