Ba Sing Se: City of Complications

Tuwa nodded her head and looked at the house, she couldn’t believe she was with the avatar. The avatar was the highest person in the world being able to bend all the elements. Tuwa walked over to the bench she was sitting at and sat down once more going back to her readings.

~ KAON

Kaon gave Kaji a surprised look. "They found the Warrior and the Avatar?" she asked, drawing closer as if she needed to hear him better. "Shit. They're sure having more luck than we are."

Sighing, and slung her bag over her other shoulder. She started to walk off, then paused and sighed. "I don't know where the hell I'm going. Kaji, care to lead the way?"

KIHARU

Kiharu peered over to the hill. "Is IS pretty," she said, raising a brow. "But the palace looks even better." She sat on the step of the fountain and decided to wait for the others.

Kaji sighed and rolled his eyes, he turned around and walked towards the Upper Ring. As he reached the top of the city he looked around and saw a group of people. He walked over to the group, and sure enough it was Kiharu and Amuri, and they were with the Avatar and the Warrior of Earth. Kaji looked at the Earth Warrior 'Another blonde eh?' he thought 'And a girl too....shouldn't there be more male warriors? I mean this IS mens work in a way....but whatever.' Kaji turned to Kagutsuchi 'So he's the Avatar?' he thought 'Looks dark....I'll make sure he stays ahead of me when we travel...something about him makes me uneasy....maybe it's the red eyes....funny thing is though....he seems familiar, like I've seen him somewhere before.' Kaji held out his hand to Kagutsuchi "So you're the Avatar huh?" he said shaking Kagutsuchi's hand.

Kagutsuchi nodded "Yeah, you're the guy leading this group?" he asked Kaji, Kaji nodded "Yeah" he said. They stood there, looking hard into each other's eyes, Kaji's blue eyes staring hard into Kagutsuchi's red eyes. Kaji still couldn't get over it, those eyes and his looks were so familiar, he swore he'd seen him so many times before. Kagutsuchi stared hard at Kaji, he could've sworn that this scene had happened before, then he noticed, Kaji had his father's eyes, blue piercing eyes. Blue and Red eyes locked in one another, Kagutsuchi broke the silence "You have your father's eyes.." he said "Your father is the Fire Lord yes?" Kaji nodded "Yes...but how did you know? I never mentioned I was the Fire Prince" he said. Kagutsuchi started to panic, he couldn't let slip the Fire Lord had been killed "Um...I've seen you before, when I was in the Fire Nation...some parade or something" he said. Kaji looked hard at Kagutsuchi, then shrugged off this feeling like he knew something he wasn't telling, he sighed and looked at Kiharu "Can I ask how you have the luck of finding not only the Earth Warrior but the Avatar as well?" he asked.

Tuwa felt like the avatar was hiding something but she dismissed this thought. "Hello Fire Prince," Tuwa said standing next to Kaji, "I am Tuwa." Tuwa smiled and heard someone coming up from behind her

Sasavi walked up behind Kaji next to Kaon, a tense silence was between them. Kaji had just finished his own introduction to the two, the new blonde Earth warrior girl, and the strangely handsome Avatar. She held out her hand. "Hey, I'm Sasavi, one of the Fire Warriors. Pleased to meet you, Avatar." She shook Tuwa's hand as well. "And you, Tuwa, Earth Warrior."

Kagutsuchi looked over at Sasavi and then back to Kaji "She you're girlfriend?" he asked "Because if she is nice choice, go for the shirtless babes." Kaji sighed "She's not my girlfriend" he said blushing slightly "She's just a good friend of mine, well friend...we just kinda met a week ago."

Sasavi rolled her eyes. "What he means to say is that we don't really know eachother but he definatly has a crush on me." She looked up at his mansion. "Nice place you have, and the festival sounds fun."

Kaji turned around "I have a crush on you?" he said "I think you have it wrong, YOU like ME. Not the other way around."

Sasavi rolled her eyes. Truthfully, he had been flirting with her a TON. Truthfully, he was cute. Truthfully, she didn't have any feelings for him. Yet. "Whatever. Let's blow this joint, I'm dying to check out your house."

Kaji sighed and walked up the hill, in all honesty he did like her, but not as much as she claimed. Something about her was different from the other girls, she was unique, maybe that was it, whatever it was though he wasn't sure, all he knew is he DID like her.

Kagutsuchi walked up to his house and opened the door, he entered a large hall, it was decoriated with things from all of the nations. "It's not much...not compared to the palace...but it's home" he said.
