Fire Nation Capital: The Palace - A Sunny Day ~ Noriaki Topic (CLOSED)

Amaterasu raced foreward stood protectively in front of Noriaki, hands blazing with her black flames. She looked ready to murder him. "Have you lost your goddamned mind!" she roared. "What if he'd gotten hurt?"

Noriaki glared protestingly from behind Amaterasu's hip. "I was doing fine!" he said. "Why did you do that?"

Amaterasu rounded on him. "Your arm just got done healing," he growled out. "What would Haru or Kiari say if they caught you handling these?" To Noriaki's silence, she turned back around and wrenched the swords from Tsukiyomi's grasp.

"You have no responsibility at all!" she said. "You're just -- ugh!"

Tsukiyomi looked at her "Thanks for the compliment sis....its not my fault I have more faith in the next generation than you...dad always did say you never understood that....I was simply training him so that he could protect the king" he said.

Amaterasu paused. "Tsukiyomi, what kind of crap are you spewing? Faith in the next generation? He's seven! And what freakin' king?" Her confusion abated her anger somewhat, and the girl felt odd; like she'd missed something important.

"Really?" Noriaki piped from behind her. "Ama, could you please give me my sword back?"

"No!" she snapped stubbornly, then turned back to Tsuki. "What king?"

Tsukiyomi laughed "You'll learn one day....you'll understand what the king is" he said.

Amaterasu exploded. Noriaki watched in genuine fear as the girl's fingers latched around her brother's throat, shoving him into the nearby oak. "You'll tell me who the king is now, dammit!" she threatened, wisps over black flame forming at her fingertips.

Snarling, she tossed him to the ground and proceeded to beat the crap out of him. "I. Am. Not. In. The. MOOD!" she cried with each punch, and Noriaki stood there, stunned.

"Um," he whimpered. "Ama please don't kill him. He was just..."

Tsukiyomi half dizzy pushed his sister off of him by making a shield of white flames. Tsukiyomi sent a small whip of fire at Amaterasu as they wrapped around her binding her, Tsukiyomi hardened the flames as his sister fell over. Tsukiyomi looked down at Amaterasu "I love these things" he said smiling "You really want to know who the king is?"

Amaterasu was still for a second as her body struggled with its bindings, until a glow of green fire freed her from Tsukiyomi's white flames.

Noriaki blinked. "Are... are you two okay?" he wondered. To him, the fight looked kind of heated, but in all actually Amaterasu wasn't seeking to harm her brother at all.

Not that Tsukiyomi was supposed to know that.

"We're fine, Nori," Amaterasu told him. "Anyway," she said. "Tell me who this 'king' is."

Tsukiyomi looked at Noriaki "Noriaki can you excuse us while we talk?" he asked. Tsukiyomi waited until he was sure Noriaki was gone. Tsukiyomi smiled at Amaterasu "The king...is the unborn generation of children....who will one day replace the previous generation and will surpass them.....this generation of unborn people will one day protect the balance of this world....and will inherit the wills of their teachers and mentors....it's because of them this world continues to grow and develop....and we have to fight to protect them" he said smiling.

Amaterasu was speechless for a moment. The girl started to laugh wildly, clutching herstomach. She placed her arm against a tree for support, sliding down its trunk. "Ts-Tsuki!" she gasped. "You're killing me!"

Noriaki peered at the two of them bemusedly. "Um..." he began. "So I'm not protecting a real king?"

Tsukiyomi felt a little insulted at Amaterasu and rolled his eyes "You'll understand one day sis...." he sighed, Tsukiyomi walked towards teh door "Dad would've been able to explain it better" he said.
