Healing: After the Summit

"The best, my love" he said returning the kiss "The army has reached 10 million soldiers and the numbers continue to grow..the generals have assured me they will be ready to move out at anytime...but in light of recents events, most notedly the summit, I've decided to hold them back, besides it gives me time to allow our army to grow." Sasuno'o walked over to the beach and looked out at the waves, Tsukaia still in his arms, in the distance he could see the Earth Kingdom and the Fire Nation, and to his left he could see the small peaks of the Light Nation mountains. Sasuno'o smiled "It will all be ours, very soon my love" he said.

Tsukaia smiled. She liked the sound of that. "We'll have all the servants and resources we could possibly want," she said. "But most of all, we'll have power." The beach wind fluttered her silvery hair.

"How do you feel?" she asked.

"Much better" he said "This news and being able to share it with you....it's made me feel much better." Sasuno'o kissed Tsukaia and looked at her, the sunset shining on them both "Looks like it's almost tonight..." he said smilingly lovingly at her "You know what that means right?" Sasuno'o kissed her passionatley "We can get to the real training" he said.

Tsukaia purred and pressed against him. "Let's hurry, shall we?" She started from the beach, pacing her way elegantly up the spiral of steps that led back into the palace. Glancing over her shoulder, she checked to see if he was following.

Sasuno'o kept up with Tsukaia smiling "Why the rush though?" he asked "It's been a while, I thought we'd make this last." Sasuno'o finally caught up to her when they reached their room. He took of his army and walked over to Tsukaia "Shall we begin, or would you prefer we start with a bath?" he asked her.

Tsukaia grinned at him. "A bath sounds perfect," she agreed, slinging her robe across her shoulders. She made the short journey to the bathhouse, servants drawing the water for them. Steam whirled throughout the chamber, trailing over the stone and across the exotic walls. Assortments of flowers crafted around the pools obtained small dewy droplets.

Tsukaia couldn't resist the blissful sigh that escape from her lips as she settled into the water. She swarm forward to the edge, and peered up at her love with longing eyes. "Join me," she told him. "Let's get closer."

Sasuno'o smiled lovingly and moved closer to Tsukaia "Of course" he said. He put his arms around her, he could feel her smooth skin, even though it's touch was muffled by the water he could still slightly feel it. He kissed her passoinately and moved his hands lower down her back. "I love you Tsukaia...and I've missed doing this with you....welcome home" he told her.

Tsukaia smiled and kissed him softly, then reached for the soap. She lathered up his shoulders and pressed against him, once again liking the feel of his muscles. She inspected his wound; it was healing very nicely; it'd stopped bleading and had started to scab over. She knew it would scar, however, forever reminding her of how close she was to losing him.

She ducked under the water, wetting her hair, then shampooed it vigorously. She still hadn't quite gotten all the blood out. Then she worked on her body, using just her hands. Finally, she passed him the soap. "Wash that wound up nicely. I'm still concerned about it getting infected," she informed him, sweetly running a finger across his shoulders.

Sasuno'o scrubbed the scar on his shoulder, it hurt a bit, but with Tsukaia there he couldn't let it get to him. Sasuno'o could see Tsukaia, she seemed afraid of his scar, he knew that to her...it meant almost loosing him. Sasuno'o put down the soap and went over to Tsukaia hugging her tightly in his arms. "You'll never loose me...I'll always love you....and I'll never let you go" he said.

Tsukaia smiled and rested against him. "I know," she said softly, returning the embrace. They stayed like that for a while, before Tsukaia swam to the edge of the pool and climbed out. Wrapping a towel around her slender frame, she winked. "Let's go, my dear," she told him.
