3rd Tenkaichi Bending-kai | Heavyweight Division | Semi-Final Round | Match 7 – [#11] Kimiko vs. [#21] Kuma

“Hello folks, and welcome to the first annual Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Heavyweight Semi-Final Round!  We are about to begin our first match!” The announcer said into his microphone, the noise blasting over the roaring crowd. The battle would take place in a long, rectangular Imperial Arena.  Sand covered the floor, and though rectangular, it had rounded edges.  Stands stretched around the outside, and backed into the stands where the private boxes were was the Imperial Palace and the Emperor's Box, as well as mansions and palaces belonging to important nobles who also had their own private boxes attached to their homes.

The entire place was of made of sandstone and marble and was fabulously decorated. A massive golden brazier stood above the Emperor's Box, being supported by two Tengu.  It was on fire, and the fire was said to never go out.  It was white fire too.  In the arena there were several pools of water around the edges. Many tricks and traps were riddled everywhere through this arena, to be activated by Mr. Showbiz's will. Also, because Mr. Showbiz was an asshole, this entire battle took place at night. Showbiz liked tricks like that.

“Today, we'll be witnessing the fierce battle between Kimiko Hashiko and Kuma Kurebayashi. The gates will open on my mark. With the combatants set, and the battlefield ready for them, let's give them a warm welcome!  Now before we begin, let's remind our fighters that they'll each have 500 HP and will roll a random number of 50 instead of 20 for the Heavyweight Matches.  Attack Accuracy and Defence stay the same, at 10.  However!  Because Kimiko made a Showbiz deal in her previous match, she is able to roll attack strengths out of 100 instead of 50.  But she will no longer receive a Showbiz Offer for the rest of the tournament, and Kimiko is forbidden from participating for the next two years.  Kimiko will have the honour of the first strike!  Now without further ado...”

Kimi watched as the full moon rose above them. Was it possible? Was ShowBiz going to be that crazy? She wondered if her opponent knew anything about her as she made her way into the arena. 'Okay, Kimi, you barely got out of that last fight. Lets work on this one.' She thought to herself as she prepared for her first attack. Why let the cats out of the bag so soon? Why not start with something simple and work to the hard stuff later.

Kimi smiled as she reached for her pouch and pulled out a huge ball of water, big enough to devour the opponent whole. As she reached the middle section of the arena, she launched the ball straight at Kuma and watched, ready to defend whatever may come her way next.

Kuma's eyes widened at Showbiz's announcement. He was gonna die. He was gonna freaking die. He realized that his only chance at winning was by providing a strong defense against his opponent's attacks. Luckily, she was a water bender as well, and when the water came flying at him, he froze it solid, stopping it in midair before it fell to the ground with a loud thud. The girl had brought her own water? He found it odd, considering there was plenty already in the arena, for him, anyway. He shrugged and used his water bending to lift the huge chunk of ice off of the ground and send it flying back the way it came.

Kimiko Hashiko

Kimi laughed as the ice started to come back at her. Waterbenders, they were all the same. Kimi couldn't stand waterbenders, but atleast this one seemed to be of the Northern Tribe. Maybe he wouldn't be as horrid as the Southern Tribe was to her. She didn't have time to think about it, she just acted on instinct, pulling the first thing close to her to collide with the ice.

Unfortunately for Mr. Showbiz, the first thing close to her was his body. Throwing his body like a sack of potatoes, it crashed into the ice and stopped. Kimi jumped back at her actions, surprised at herself for flipping that quickly. Normally she had to think Blood Bending through, but hey, as long as she still had Mr. Showbiz at her control, she wasn't going to just give it up. rearing back his hand and forming a fist, Kimi forced Mr. Showbiz to start fighting Kuma for her. Starting simple, with a series of three different punches to Kuma's chest.

Kuma felt the color drain from his face. He recognized that technique. Blood bending. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead. Every water bender knew about blood bending. While some accepted the fact that it existed, that wasn't enough for Kuma. The idea of using somebody as a puppet scared him half to death. And that puppet was flying directly at his face.

Caught by surprise, Kuma was hit a few times before finally stepping out of the way. It was no ordinary audience member, but Mr. ShowBiz himself, who was trying to kill him. Kuma almost laughed at the look on his face. Almost. He wondered if he should hit ShowBiz or turn his attention back to his opponent. He shrugged. Why not both? Pulling water from a nearby pool, Kuma hurled a giant, finely pointed spike at the blood bender while attempting to freeze ShowBiz in place and kick him in the head to knock him unconscious.

Kimiko Hashiko

Kimi almost froze as everything started to come at her. She dropped Mr. Showbiz's body just in time for him to dodge the Ice while she jumped over the ice spike. Then, being the generous person that she was, Kimi placed Mr. Showbiz back into his booth and pulled Collins out instead. Her favorite bartender would just have to forgive her for the moment. Hey, if she won, she'd probably give some of the prize money or something to him to make him feel better. Either way, she's find something to soothe his hurt feelings later. For now, she had a fight to work on.

Since Collins wasn't a bender, she couldn't use any bending through him, she could however use his bartender/bouncer strength. Moving him close, Kimi made him collide into Kuma. Literally throwing Collins' dummied body at her opponent like a chunk of ice.
