3rd Tenkaichi Bending-kai | Heavyweight Division | Semi-Final Round | Match 8 – [#9] Trace vs. [#8] Kai’liané

“Hello folks, and welcome to the first annual Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Heavyweight Semi-Final Round!  We are about to begin our second match!” The announcer said into his microphone, the noise blasting over the roaring crowd. The battle would take place in a long, rectangular Imperial Arena.  Sand covered the floor, and though rectangular, it had rounded edges.  Stands stretched around the outside, and backed into the stands where the private boxes were was the Imperial Palace and the Emperor's Box, as well as mansions and palaces belonging to important nobles who also had their own private boxes attached to their homes.  

The entire place was of made of sandstone and marble and was fabulously decorated. A massive golden brazier stood above the Emperor's Box, being supported by two Tengu.  It was on fire, and the fire was said to never go out.  It was white fire too.  In the arena there were several pools of water around the edges. Many tricks and traps were riddled everywhere through this arena, to be activated by Mr. Showbiz's will. Also, because Mr. Showbiz was an asshole, this entire battle took place at night. Showbiz liked tricks like that.

“Today, we'll be witnessing the fierce battle between Trace Nightshadow and Kai'liané Murumasa. The gates will open on my mark. With the combatants set, and the battlefield ready for them, let's give them a warm welcome!  Now before we begin, let's remind our fighters that they'll each have 500 HP and will roll a random number of 50 instead of 20 for the Heavyweight Matches.  Attack Accuracy and Defence stay the same, at 10.  Trace will have the honour of the first strike!  Now without further ado...”

Trace rushed forward, her hands quickly being covered with stone, forged into a gauntlet only her father would recognize. She wasn't going to wait and give the opponent the chance to expect her attack. No. She was almost to the finals. She had to get there, and attacking quickly without hesitation was going to be her way there.

((OOC: I've been given permission by Kouzai to have a summon contract.  I'll be summoning Ravens.  I've also been allowed to use a single NPC human as a puppet.  Mind benders really can't do much else.  I used them in the last fight.))

Kai'liané laughed as her opponent charged her. Did none of them learn? Did none of them understand? She was not the opponent. She was not who they should be attacking, not if they wanted to live. Kai'liané snapped her fingers and a 7ft tall, massive, mountain of a man jumped over the balcony above and landed in the arena. After her Fire Bender puppet was killed by that bastard Ulrich in the last match, she needed a new one.

Kai'liané used this one against her little friend Ulrich, broke his arm too. Kai'liané laughed as she remembered. He would not be fighting for a long while. This time Kai'liané wanted to shock her opponent by hiding her puppet in the crowd. As the puppet landed, slamming himself down behind Trace, he grabbed the collar of her shirt and tossed her across the arena. Then, using his own Earth Bending to launch himself skyward, he covered his feet in boots of rock and aimed to land right on Trace, slamming his rocky feet and massive weight right into her body.

The match is officially over!  Time is up!  The winner by is Red Velvet Bailey and her character, Trace Nightshadow!  Winning by forfeit!  Bailey will move on to the Final Round of the Heavyweight Competition!  Congratulations!
