Kara thought she could get at Izanami with a close range attack, but she was sorely mistaken. Rushing head on at your opponent was a bad thing to do, and it did not help that the Ezofuji Style of Fire Bending trained the user in Fire Bending at close, mid and long range. The Ezofuji School left no room for error, no weakness or disadvantage if you ended up in a fist fight. You were always somewhat prepared or knowledgeable about how to utilize your flames at any distance, and today that paid off for Izanami. The first thing she did was dodge by jumping in the air, parallel to the ground. She hovered and spun as she dodged, Kara's arm passing right beneath her.

As Izanami landed she used one hand to grab Kara's arm and hold it in place, and the other she covered with black flames and rammed into the stone bodice that covered Kara's chest like armour. Izanami continued to force her flaming palm at the rocks, hoping to either heat them up enough she'd melt through them, shatter through them and knock Kara back several feet, or simply heat the stones to the point where they'd burn the user beneath them. It was a risky move, for there was no guarantee whether or not she could do it, but it was a shot Izanami was willing to take.

The stones burnt like lava. In fact, they might as well have been lava. Her skin was scorched with heat, forcing her to cast the rocks off of her body to avoid further damage. “What the hell!” Kara shouted as she looked at the red burns on her upper chest. The rules are NO killing, right? Apparently not to Ms. I’m-to-good-for-rules.
Angered even more, Kara reassembled her earth suit. She did this for the fact that her opponent was blood thirsty. Kara solidified the rock as much as it could. She was not letting that attack happen again anytime soon. There were only the tiniest of slits for her to see and breathe out of. If she needed to, she could close them so no fire could get through. Using her earthbending to propel herself at extreme speeds towards Izanami. And again, using earthbending to move agilely so she wasn’t as evadible. When she was ready, she lunged at Izanami, hoping to break a few bones.

Unfortunately, Dances With Derp has been accused and found guilty of editing his post to change the outcome of the random number generator.  After being questioned, he answered truthfully that that was the case.  He is hereby disqualified from the tournament, his opponent moves on to the next round!  Izanami is the winner!
