2nd Tenkaichi Bending-kai Lightweight Division ~ Quarter-Final Rounds ~ Match 2 ~ Dances With Derp vs. Lyssa

“Hello folks, and welcome to the first annual Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Lightweight Quarter Finals! We are about to begin our Second Match!” The announcer said into his microphone, the noise blasting over the roaring crowd. The battle would take place in a circular Ba Sing Se arena, which had pools of water around the edges. Tricks and traps were riddled everywhere through this arena, to be activated by Mr. Showbiz's will.

“Today, we'll be witnessing the fierce battle between Kara Liu and Alyssandra Ezofuji-no-Tsukuyomi. The gates will open on my mark. With the combatants set, and the battlefield ready for them, let's give them a warm welcome! Now before we begin, let's remind our fighters that they'll each have 100HP and will roll a random number of 30 instead of 20 for the Lightweight Matches. Attack and Defence stay the same, at 10. Kara will have the honour of the first strike! Now, without further ado...”

((I am giving up the first attack since I won't able to post a good attack until Monday-ish, therefore, I will let Lyssa strike first.))

Alyssandra's opponent, some Earth Bender named Kiara, was given the strategic first attack, but simply bowed as if to give up her right to strike first. A move Alyssandra considered foolish, and though she frowned at Kiara's choice, she did not pass up the opportunity to strike first herself. Running towards Kiara, Alyssandra unleashed a flurry of mid-ranged blows that were not meant to physically strike her opponent, but created bursts of fire that were aimed at Kiara's arms and legs.

She was an Earth Bender, this Kiara. Limiting her mobility and ability to bend would give Alyssandra a good advantage in this fight. Moreover Alyssandra always felt that being in control, as much as possible of course, was best in a fight, and so that is what Alyssandra was going for here. Was it ruthless? Sure, but this was life. This tournament sought to find the strongest bender in the land. Tenka Musou. Unrivalled Beneath All Heaven. That was the title bestowed upon winners. Ruthless was worth it.

Kara was struck with the flames. They weren’t as painful as she thought. Twas but a slight burn on her arm. Her opponent was too formal for her battle style. Alyssandra was some bigwig who entered this competition to show off her elegance. Kara entered the competition to prove her worth and strength to the world.
Recuperating her thoughts from the sudden hate of her opponent, Kara sent several large boulders flying at Alyssandra. If one of the boulders made direct contact, it would do some heavy damage.
