1st Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Staffweight Final Round: Kouzumi Burezofuji SSJ4.5 Vs. Lyssa (Chikushodo)

“Hello folks, and welcome to the first annual Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Staff Finals!  We are about to begin our only match!” The announcer said into his microphone, the noise blasting over the roaring crowd. The battle would take place in a perfectly Arena in the Sky.  Sand covered the floor, and pools of water sat on the four cardinal directions of the arena.  The entire arena itself was made of white stone and marble and had edifices of birds and sky bison everywhere as well as statues of famous air benders.  Many of the statues were broken, but that only proved the age of the arena.  

Stands stretched around the outside, and were covered in moss and vines.  Water fell from a small spring off corners of the arena.  The entier arena was a floating island of rock in the sky.  It looked like an ancient temple that had been converted into an arena, and that's exactly what it was. Copious amounts of tricks and traps were riddled everywhere through this arena, to be activated by Mr. Showbiz's will.

“Today, we'll be witnessing the fierce battle between the fusing brothers, Kouzai and Tsumi Ezofuji-no-Buredo as Kouzumi Burezofuji and Alyssandra Ezofuji-no-Tsukuyomi. The gates will open on my mark. With the combatants set, and the battlefield ready for them, let's give them a warm welcome!  Now before we begin, let's remind our fighters that they'll each have 1000HP and will roll a random number of 100 instead of 20 for the Staffweight Matches.  Attack and Defence stay the same, at 10.  Without further ado...”





 

Tsumi and Kouzai Ezofuji-No-Buredo strutted out onto the field, ready to bump fists, and fuse. They flashed cocky smirks, moving their hands forward, and fused, their bodies glowing brightly for a brief moment, as they joined together.


The resulting man, Kouzumi, stared coldly at the opposition, kicking a nearby pebble at her head.

Alyssandra saw these two people become one, as surprised as she was she kept her cool and waited for them to attack. Then they did, kicking a pebble at her head. That normally wouldn't do much, but these people (person?) had strength and speed on his (their?) side. They kicked the pebble with such strength it caused wind and whistled towards her. Alyssandra dipped back, arcing her back and allowed the pebble to hit the wall, denting it. Thank the gods and spirits she was flexible. Standing up, Alyssandra leaned forward into a stance, using the momentum to her advantage and shot a ball of fire at her opponent(s?).

Kouzumi blocked the fire ball with a shield of spiritual energy. While they were benders of many elements apart, together they could only use Spirit bending. But Kouzumi wasn't complaining, Spirit bending was fairly strong in its own right, and it was useful for offence or defence. Kouzumi smiled and gathered the spiritual shield together between two hands, both parallel to the ground and each other. His two hands cradled the Spiritual energy and formed it into a round ball which Kouzumi shot at Alyssandra.

Spirit bending, while allowing the user to commune, see, control and even use spirits and their spiritual energy, could be used to bend ones own spiritual energy. The larger your spiritual energy, the wider range of attacks you could use and the stronger those attacks were, and Kouzumi had a fairly large spiritual capacity, which was only expanded upon when the two brothers fused. Kouzumi smiled, this would hurt if it hit. The rook and bishop had struck, how would the lance respond?

Alyssandra saw the attack jumping and after doing a backflip to put some distance between herself and the attack and shot a ball of fire at the ball of spiritual energy in order to stop it. The two attacks crashed and exploded in a ball of fire and spiritual bliss. Within seconds Alyssandra was back into attack mode, ready to take down her opponent. With a grin of trickery, she prepared a bolt of lightning, spinning her hands in two separate circles, first the right, then the left. The her two fingers met together in the middle, and created a small ball of electricity as she pulled her two sets of forefingers apart. Balancing the electric ball on one hand, she lunged forward in a stance, and shot the electric ball at Kouzumi, aiming for his chest, but her next best hope would be him blocking with his wing. It would certainly keep him on the ground.
