1st Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Heavyweight Final Round: Lyssa (Chikushodo) vs. NiyNiy (Tendo)

“Hello folks, and welcome to the first annual Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Heavyweight Finals! We are about to begin our Final Match!” The announcer said into his microphone, the noise blasting over the roaring crowd. The battle would take place in a long, rectangular Imperial Arena. Sand covered the floor, and though rectangular, it had rounded edges. Stands stretched around the outside, and backed into the stands where the private boxes were was the Imperial Palace and the Emperor's Box, as well as mansions and palaces belonging to important nobles who also had their own private boxes attached to their homes.

The entire place was of made of sandstone and marble and was fabulously decorated. A massive golden brazier stood above the Emperor's Box, being attended to by two Tengu. It was on fire, and the fire was said to never go out. It was white fire too. In the arena there were several pools of water around the edges. Many tricks and traps were riddled everywhere through this arena, to be activated by Mr. Showbiz's will.

“Today, we'll be witnessing the fierce battle between Alyssandra Ezofuji-no-Tsukuyomi and Ieyasu Leihing. The gates will open on my mark. With the combatants set, and the battlefield ready for them, let's give them a warm welcome! Now before we begin, let's remind our fighters that they'll each have 500HP and will roll a random number of 75 instead of 20 for the Heavyweight Matches. Attack and Defence stay the same, at 10. Without further ado...”

Alyssandra entered the ring. She had come a long way to reach the finals, and now she was up against Ieyasu Leihing. The Crown Prince of the Northern Water Tribe and her distant cousin. A Jinchuriki too, for the Three Tails, though he never let it show through. He was admirable, that much was true, but he and Izanagi were a like. Alyssandra would enjoy her victory here, as if it were a triumph over her own brother. She was taking no chances and holding no punches. This was the finals, and it all came down to this.

She hadn't entered the arena four times in the past few months for nothing. Each time she left a winner, and this time she would do it again, as the champion. Alyssandra gathered a small ball of fire at her chest, gathering it in, deeply, and rounding it off perfectly. Condensing it, just like she had seen Izanagi and Hiruko do multiple times. And shot a Shooting Star at her opponent.

Ieyasu entered the arena and looked at his opponent. It was his distant cousin, Alyssandra, who was his opponent. Ieyasu had truly hoped that he would be fighting Izanagi here, a worthy opponent and a fine man, but Alyssandra was strong as well, and perhaps just as strong as her brother given the chance to prove herself. And like Ieyasu, Alyssandra had won every match she was in so far, but not this one, the streak ended here. Ieyasu was not going to allow his opponent to rest. It was Alyssandra who struck first, sending a Shooting Star hurtling at him, but Ieyasu was quick and used his water bending to raise himself up above the explosion of flames. It would've done a lot of damage if that had struck, but not right now, not this early.

Ieyasu landed back on the ground and gathered as much water as he could from the arena to form a massive statue. With its many arms, its praying pose, and its grandiose, massive form. It was the Statue of the Great Sage, Ieyasu's strongest technique. There was no need going easy in the Finals, not when victory was so close. The statue mimicked his every move, every step, every punch, every swat. Raising his hand up high and opening his palm, Ieyasu charged forward and them swatted his hand downward towards the ground and the Statue brought its hand down as well, ready to bring it right down on Alyssandra.

Alyssandra raised her arms and blocked the massive hand with a sphere of fire. It melted through the hand, but Alyssandra wasn't shocked to see Ieyasu reform it almost immediately. Alyssandra knew she needed to take out that statue. She couldn't use the Dai Tengu form like Hiruko, Izanagi, Izanami or Raijin, but she needed a way. Alyssandra paused for a moment, then realized that as long as Ieyasu was conscious, that statue wasn't going to die. He'd just repair it. Suddenly, taking out the statue was no longer an option. With a deep sigh, Alyssandra charged up another Shooting Star, knowing how much this would take out of her, and shot it right at Ieyasu, head on.

Ieyasu took the massive hit of fire. His statue wasn't fast enough to block and he was sent flying back right into it. Luckily his armour kept him from being burned too severely, and his attempt at blocking with the statue's massive arms helped as well, but it wasn't enough to stop his head from spinning and his ears from ringing. His vision was fuzzy, and he could see Alyssandra going for the statue. He needed to stop her. He raised his arm, and swung, just anywhere, hoping that the massive statue hand would swat Alyssandra and knock her aside, stopping her assault on the statue.
