1st Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Heavyweight Semi-Final Round - First Match: Lyssa (Chikushodo) Vs. Loolaalee

“Hello folks, and welcome to the first annual Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Heavyweight Semi-Finals! We are about to begin our First Match!” The announcer said into his microphone, the noise blasting over the roaring crowd. The battle would take place in a long, rectangular Imperial Arena. Sand covered the floor, and though rectangular, it had rounded edges. Stands stretched around the outside, and backed into the stands where the private boxes were was the Imperial Palace and the Emperor's Box, as well as mansions and palaces belonging to important nobles who also had their own private boxes attached to their homes.

The entire place was of made of sandstone and marble and was fabulously decorated. A massive golden brazier stood above the Emperor's Box, being attended to by two Tengu. It was on fire, and the fire was said to never go out. It was white fire too. In the arena there were several pools of water around the edges. Many tricks and traps were riddled everywhere through this arena, to be activated by Mr. Showbiz's will.

“Today, we'll be witnessing the fierce battle between Alyssandra Ezofuji-no-Tsukuyomi and Yami Sentoki. The gates will open on my mark. With the combatants set, and the battlefield ready for them, let's give them a warm welcome! Now before we begin, let's remind our fighters that they'll each have 500HP and will roll a random number of 75 instead of 20 for the Heavyweight Matches. Attack and Defence stay the same, at 10. Without further ado...”

As soon as Yami stepped into the arena, the crowd started freaking out. I win two matches to guys who quit, and this happens? She thought. She wasn't fond of being the center of attention, and she pulled the hood of her cloak down over her face. Sure, I'll be popular now. But sooner or later, news about my identity will get out, and all of a sudden I won't be able to walk anywhere without people either asking about the 5-tails, or them cowering in fear.

Yami eyed her opponent across the arena. Hm, it's a girl this time. Glad to see i'm not the only female doing this well. Yami didn't hold back. As soon as her opponent got within range, Yami shot a fireball straight at her.

Alyssandra looked at Yami. This girl had taken down her brother. "So you're the one who beat Izanagi, huh?" she asked, calling across the arena. Izanagi dropped out, but it counted as a loss just the same to Alyssandra. "I thank and applaud you," she said. Alyssandra didn't hate her brother completely, but she wanted the throne, and if him loosing a tournament would help her, she'd be okay with that. "But, regardless, my job in this tournament will be to crush you," sighed Alyssandra, "As much as I like you for beating my brother, I need to win." Yami shot a fireball at her almost immediately. Alyssandra, with a bored sigh, blocked it, stopping the fire ball by raising her hand, and then flicked it with her index finger, shooting back, top speed, at Yami.

Yami sidestepped the fireball. hm, another fire bender. This could be interesting. Yami began to run at the girl, charging a pulse of fire in her hand. At the last second, she rolled to the side and around the woman, trying to hit her in the back.

Alyssandra stood there, pretending to not notice Yami, and at the last second, she spun around and grabbed the girl's wrist. Yawning, Alyssandra gave a bored look to her opponent, "Well, I did think you were going to be a challenge," she sighed, "But you've disappointed me. How did you get my brother to surrender? He probably just got bored--ugh, what a pain. And here I thought I was going to congratulate you on being good." Alyssandra sighed again, then released Yami. She formed a small triangle of fire on her hand. It was small, but it was hot and it would cut. Then she aimed it right for Yami's gut, hoping to cut right into it and hurt the girl. These were the semi-finals, Alyssandra was going to do whatever it took to win.

Yami grinned. "It looks as though I have been underestimated again." She spun around, trusting out of the woman's grip. However, the cut came down across her arm, and she jumped back into a crouch. Dangit! I hope the ref didn't notice that, she thought. I need to end this quickly. Yami was only a few feet away, so she jumped high into the air, aiming an axe kick for the woman's right shoulder.
