Bree's search OPEN

Bree hurried to get what Kimi asked for. This was her fault. If she had been faster then Collins wouldn't be on the table. She got the supplies and handed to Kimi. She started to cry and couldn't stop. She slumped against she bar and wrapped her arms around her knees and bawled.

Kimi turned to grab the towels and water cup as Bree approached. "Bree, if you can calm down, I'm going to need a bit of help." She said as she pulled out the syringe and medicine from the black box. She shook a bit as she filled the syringe and carefully set it in the box. She had to find his vein before she could pick it back up, so she turned back to Collins. He seemed to be doing good, considering, but she didn't want to chance it. The man didn't have family and the bar would close down for good if something happened to him. Finding his vien quickly, she took the syringe and gave him the medicine. "Bree, if you can stay calm and focused, I need someone to hold his shoulders down." She called over to Bree, hoping she could pull herself together and help out. Kimi was used to doing this alone, but she really did need the help.

Pulling a bit of water away from the cup, using to carefully cleanse the wound again of the blood that had pulled when she moved him. With each pass, the water began to come back with a little bit more red than the last one. When it was finally cleansed, she threw the water into the nearest bar drain.

Bree was rocking slightly when Kimi told her to calm down. She took a couple of deep breaths before standing up and rushing to Collins. She reached out with shaking hands and pushed down on his shoulders. As she held him she allowed herself to slip halfway into meditation and tried to calm herself. She listened for Kimi to give her orders and prayed that her slow reaction didn't kill Collins.

Kimi watched as Bree came over to them and pushed down on Collins. She looked back at the wound and picked up her suture needle and treaded it quickly. The wound wasn't deep but had pierced a few levels of muscle. She worked quickly to stitch it all back together as Collins tried to sit up and fight the pain. Kimi's body blocked his legs from curling up, but only Bree was holding his torso down. She hoped Bree was strong enough for her to finish the stitches and bandage him up before he moved too much. The medicine was moving slowly through his body. "Bree, I need you to try and keep him still, move farther up on his chest if you have to." Kimi said as she worked on the last few stitches. She grabbed the bandages and ripped them open with her teeth before tying off the last and final stitch. Bandaging him up, Kimi relazed a bit. She took the towels and dipped them in the water before cleaning up the rest of the blood.

Bree focused on holding Collins down. it was not easy but by focusing on her meditation she managed. When Kimi started cleaning him she relaxed a bit.

"Is he going to be ok?" she asked with tears in her eyes.

Kimi looked up at Bree for a second before going back to her work. She wasn't sure what to say, typically these wounds would heal quickly, but they sometimes had issues. There wasn't always a for sure answer for these kind of injuries. "Bree, Collins will be fine if he follows what I tell him to do, that is after the medicine wears off." She told Bree before looking back at her. "Would you help me, I need to move him to a chair." She pulled out one of the random chairs and moved back to him. "The worst part is over for now." She told herself, keeping her mind set.

Bree helped Kimi move Collins. Once he was moved she sat on the floor and again wrapped her arms around her knees. I'm so sorry Kimi. This is all my fault. If I had been quicker Collins would not be hurt. I should have been faster. I should have done something. I could have made it. I could have saved him." Tears kept falling down her face as she rambled. She felt like this was Tarlof all over again. She hated this.

Kimi made sure Collins was going to stay in the chair before turning to Bree. "Little one, dry those tears." She said as she moved to Bree's side. "Collins knew what he was getting into when he came running after me, just like you did. Bree, you didn't hurt Collins, those thugs outside did. Collins would have done the same for you, even if I wasn't here, that's just how he is." She wrapped Bree in a hug as Collins began to wake up. He sat up in the chair and groaned against the pain. "Where's Kimi, is she okay?" He muttered, reacting for the cup of water Kimi left by him. She gave Bree and extra squeeze before turning to him. "Yes, I'm here. Thank you my friend." She told him as he sipped the water.

Bree sat as Kimi talked to Collins. She felt a little better after Kimi had hugged her, but she still felt she could have done better. The monks always said she took the blame to much. She only now realized they were right. 'Time to change' she thought. She stood and stormed out of the bar. To do what she knew needed to be done she had to not be a monk. She grabbed the man who had been thrown and dragged him into the bar. Locking the door she turned to the man and tied him up. She then grabbed some water and threw it on his face.

When the man awoke she knelt next to him. "You are going to listen to me. You are going to listen good. Kimi is coming with me. If I see you or any of your people come after me you won't have a people any more. Understand?'

Kimi stayed with Collins, giving the door to Bree's room a curious look before going back to her patient. "Collins, how do you feel?" She asked him, keeping her voice calm. He was still in pain and she could see it written all over his face. "Kimi, I'm just glad your ok." Collins replied as he tried to stand. "Now, you don't go worrying about me." He managed to stand and went over to the bar. His mind had drifted from his pain to the tasks he had to get done to open his bar. "I'm sorry, my sincere apologizes, I mean to say Miss Hashiko." He looked over at her, keeping a hand on the bar rail to keep him steady. "I don't mind you calling me, Kimi. You've earned it, Mister Collins." Kimi replied before watching him carefully. "You just be careful now. I don't want you to rip any of your stitches."
