Fire Nation: The Capital - Fire Nation Palace ~ Tsukaia Returns

"I grew up in this palace...there isn't a trick of my father's I don't know by now....that's why it was so easy to get in" said Sasuno'o, he took her hands in both of his and looked her in the eye. "Don't worry for me...I can hold my own against my family...." he leaned in and kissed her on the forehead "There isn't anything I wouldn't sacrifice for our love...to just be with you" he said. He leaned forward and kissed her again, putting his arms around her in a loving embrace. "I love you Tsukaia" he said "And I just want to be with you....as for my father finding out....I want you to trust me when I say he wont....I promise you, with my love, I give you my word." he said, he kissed her again.

Tsukaia gave in. "Okay..." she said, kissing him back. "I shouldn't have doubted you." She wrapped her arms around him, and kissed his neck, loving his muscular feel.

Sasuno'o reached for the back of her dress and started to slowly remove it. He kissed her still "Who would've thought, that this would be us" he said "After all these years, after that time at the stables....we've become lovers...and I've never felt more right about anthing in my life." He kissed her still as he removed her dress further. The next thing Sasuno'o knew everything flashed by and he was having the best night of his life, he felt that he and Tsukaia had bonded more that night than before. Before Sasuno'o knew it, it was almost dawn, Sasuno'o knew he wouldn't have much time, he quickly jumped out of the bed and got dressed. As he finished he walked to the window, taking one long look back at Tsukaia before jumping out the window and running off towards the walls.

The events of last night blurred by in startling clarity, and Tsukaia was slowly opening her eyes. Susano'o had gone, she wasn't sure when, but all she could focus on was remembering the events of last night. She took a long bath and got dressed, smearing her greatly-missed lotion over her arms and washing her hair. She would have to redye it later, but for now it can stay its normal silver.

She was surprised no one had disturbed her. She gave an amused chuckle when she realized they were probably trying to give her 'space'. Well, she could use that to her advantage.

She found the book on the floor (there was no contest as to how it had gotten there) and scrawled a short message: 'Fun night, I'm setting out, trying to gather information. I'll see if I can squeeze some info out of Ama and Tsuki.'

She wondered if she ought to take it with her, then decided on that, tucking it into her pocket. It was about the size of a small diary, so it was easy to carry around. She emerged into the corridor, and made her way down to breakfast. Curious and sympathetic eyes turned to her, and she hung her head to complete the image.

She almost collided into Noriaki as she went, the boy walking alongside his mother Haru, no doubt visiting his father to see if he would eat some breakfast. Tsukaia scoffted. He is too weak. There's no point in seeing about him.

She found Tsuki and Ama together in the kitchens, eating breakfast. She grabbed a plate and joined them, silent as ever.

"'Kaia!" Amaterasu said gently, almost motheringly. "Good morning."

Tsukaia blinked and looked at her. "Good morning," she told her dully. "How is everyone?"

Tsukiyomi who was leaning against a wall looked up at Tsukaia "So how was your night here?" he asked "Have fun? You haven't been home in days, how was it sleeping in a nice warm bed?" Tsukiyomi smiled at Tsukaia "We're heading out on a hunt today, me and Ama, we're gonna track down Sasu and kill him" he said "You wanna come with?"

Tsukaia glared at him. She normally glared at him a lot so she doubted he would be surprised. Besides, her attitude could've only worsened due to her mother's death. "No," she told him stonily. "How could you ask me something like that at a time like this, you jackass?"

The sentence, to her, very much meant meant the fact that she was in love with Susano'o now, but to them it likely meant she was still greiving over her mother's death.

Amaterasu had something different to say. "We're not going to kill him, Tsuki," she said. "We're going to find out his motive and try to bring him around. Remember when we were kids? Well... that Sasuno'o sitll exists... somewhere inside, and" she added humorlessly. "Tsukaia is right. You're being kind of insensitive, Tsuki."

She popped a bagel into her mouth and chewed, seemingly deep in thought.

Tsukiyomi scoffed "You mean the same one that was always trying to kill me?" he said lookinhg at Amaterasu, a serious look on his face "Or the one that used to torment me?" This question was of course rhetorical, he knew this comment would grant silence from Amaterasu long enough for her to realize Sasuno'o was a threat to the balance of the world, whether or not she liked it. Though it probably wouldn't do any good, Amaterasu would've thought that Michael Myers was innocent, she would neve judge a person by his or her actions, he wasn't like that, she believed everyone deserved second chances and everyone was good. Tsukiyomi sighed as he thought about this 'Yeah and maybe one day we'll all fly around sneezing out puppies, crying candy and farting out rainbows' he thought to himself.

Sasuno'o had abserved this scene too, he sighed at his brother's vain stupidity. He opened the book, he saw the message from Tsukaia and the memories of last night poured in and filled him with warm and love. After only 3 days, they were more in love with each other than ever. Sasuno'o gently placed the quil to the paper and began to write with it. "Fun doesn't begin to describe last night" he wrote "I hope we can do it again soon...but for now, don't let my little brothers vainity get to you....no one will find me at our new home....this palace is the last place they'll look my love....." Sasuno'o trailed off, he put his hand to the page, slowly feeling the smooth parchment feel. It reminded him off Tsukaia, the tan color followed by a smooth feel that could stimulate the senses. Sasuno'o zoned back in and continued to write "What I wouldn't give to be able to kiss you, to feel your smooth, tanned skin, to run my hands through your silky silver her hair, to feel the touch of your sensual lips on mine.....to feel the warmth of your body curled up in my arms...." Sasuno'o put down the quill for a second, he could almost imagine Tsukaia with him...he missed her dearly, but they always had the nights to see each other again.

Sasuno'o returned to writing "I can't wait till you return....and we wont have to wait untill night or hide our love, but I, having ordered for it, know the importance of this mission....and you have done very well so far, I'm proud of you...." he wrote, he paused one final time, he walked to the window and looked off the balcony, he legion of soldiers were ready to go, it was off to the Light Kingdom temple. Sasuno'o walked back to the book and wrote one final message "I must go now...I'm heading to the Light Kingdom to obtain an artifact...I will have this book with me, but I wont reply right away....I'll contact you again tonight through means of this book...and I hope we can meet again. I love you Tsukaia..." Sasuno'o finished off the sentence slowly closing the book, playing back the events of the previous night in his head, and also rereading the message he wrote. As he tucked the book away beneath his armor, right where he hear was. He walked over to the balcony and jumped on his dragon, he looked down at his army and nodded, he flew off the Light Nation as his soldeirs began to board Airships.

~ TSUKAIA

Tsukaia glared viciously at her 'cousin'. "My mom's dead and all you can care about is your problems? Kick rocks, Tsukiyomi! BASTARD!" Tsukaia angrily threw her tray at him, various assortments of food and drink flying into the air. She shot out of her seat and ran, feet pounding against the carpeted floor.

Tsukiyomi infuriated her to hell. How dare he do this to her? He had no idea how anyone else felt, too caught up in his own emotions. His ideals. She didn't stop until her anger had abated somewhat.

She walked one of the trails of the great garden, immersed in her thoughts, stressing over the mission. She brushed past someone and hardly noticed. She should've; not many residence of the palace were that small.

"Hey!" Noriaki complained. "What was that for?"

Tekara blinked dully at him. "I don't really know, but I'm sure you deserved it somehow."

"Hey," Noriaki told her, softer this time, after realizing who it was. "How are you doing?"

"I'm fine okay?" she snapped. "Leave me alone." She gave a start when she realized her hip was starting to grow warm, almost hot. Oh no, she thought, very uncomfortable. I can't just pull it out and read it in front of him. What if it's important?

Tsukiyomi rolled his eyes. "Spoiled little brat" he told himself chasing after her. As he reached the garden he stopped, he could see Tsukaia and Noriaki, Tsukiyomi knew that Tsukaia would probably kill him if provoked. He gave a whistle and immitated Noriaki's bending teacher "Noriaki time for class!" he shouted. Tsukiyomi hid behind a pillar, and waited for Noriaki to leave and to spy a little more on the suspicious Tsukaia.
