2nd Tenkaichi Bending-kai Heavyweight Division ~ Semi-Final Rounds ~ Bailey vs. Loo Li vs. Stephy

“Hello folks, and welcome to the first annual Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Heavyweight Semi-Finals!  We are about to begin our first and only match!” The announcer said into his microphone, the noise blasting over the roaring crowd. The battle would take place in a long, rectangular Imperial Arena.  Sand covered the floor, and though rectangular, it had rounded edges.  Stands stretched around the outside, and backed into the stands where the private boxes were was the Imperial Palace and the Emperor's Box, as well as mansions and palaces belonging to important nobles who also had their own private boxes attached to their homes.  

The entire place was of made of sandstone and marble and was fabulously decorated. A massive golden brazier stood above the Emperor's Box, being supported by two Tengu.  It was on fire, and the fire was said to never go out.  It was white fire too.  In the arena there were several pools of water around the edges. Many tricks and traps were riddled everywhere through this arena, to be activated by Mr. Showbiz's will.

“Today, we'll be witnessing the fierce battle between Trace Nightshadow, Kiara Hide and Aryianna Yan. The gates will open on my mark. With the combatants set, and the battlefield ready for them, let's give them a warm welcome!  Now before we begin, let's remind our fighters that they'll each have 500HP and will roll a random number of 50 instead of 20 for the Heavyweight Matches.  Attack and Defence stay the same, at 10.  Bailey will have the honour of the first strike!  Now without further ado...”

Trace Nightshadow

Trace walked out onto the arena again. She wasn't sure what to expect this time, hearing that she would be going up against two different people at the same time. She barely walked out of the last fight on top. With a sigh, she waited till the announcer finished his statement before turning to her opponents. "I hope this will be a fun fight." She said before pulling average sized rocks out of the ground around her opponents and slinging the rocks toward them both.

Kiara examined her opponents. An odd match-up, one that proved to the world that women were, in fact, stronger than men, as all three combatants were female. The woman who was given the first strike took little time to learn from her opponents, and attacked Kiara as soon as she stopped walking. She calmly raised her right arm, creating a barrier of shadow that solidified and blocked the assault of rocks. After lowering the barrier, she started with her favorite first attack, one that worked perfectly with distance. She took a moment to decide who to strike. The woman who attacked her might be expecting a counter attack. But the woman who had yet to strike might be expecting Kiara to hit her as well. She decided to take the chance in an attempt to reveal the third woman's element.

She lifted her right arm slightly, and a long spike formed out of the shadow. She then instantly moved her arm in the direction of the third woman. There appeared to be some kind of launching mechanism that formed out of the shadow, hurling the now solidified dark spike at the woman.

Karasu had the advantage here.  She was a Water Bender who dressed like a Fire Bender because of her mixed parentage.  She was also the Water Bending Master of the Order of the Elements, thus one of the strongest Water Benders alive, next to the the Avatar and Warrior of Water.  The first girl struck with Earth, and Karasu dodged by flowing like the water she was taught to bend, and dodged it.  She chose not to bend yet, not until it was on her grounds and her terms.  A Water Bender did not need to bend water to be a Water Bender.  A Water Bender must also BE the water, and move like the water.  That is true mastery over the element, to be the element.

Then came the spike of darkness.  Karasu had seen this girl before.  Always the same move.  Quite predictable, and Karasu dodged, bending and weaving like a twisting river.  Now was her time to strike, rushing at the Dark Bender, Karasu intended to attack with her water secretly.  She started with a few physical blows.  All blocked in the exchanged.  This girl knew hand to hand, this dark bender.  Then, sneaking a bit of water from the air around her, originally moister, Karasu created a small dagger of ice, hidden in the palm of her hand, and as she attempted to go for a palm strike, she shifted her hand, attempting to stab the dark bender girl in the side and slow her movements.

Trace watched as the fights continued and stayed off to the side while the two girls fought. It wasn't until the two started attacking each other that Trace began to feel odd being out of the fight. Jumping head first, she pulled up a wall and threw it at both of her opponents. Hoping to hit atleast one.
