2nd Tenkaichi Bending-kai Heavyweight Division ~ Final Rounds ~ Bailey vs. Stephy

“Hello folks, and welcome to the first annual Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Heavyweight Finals!  We are about to begin our first and only match!” The announcer said into his microphone, the noise blasting over the roaring crowd. The battle would take place in a long, rectangular Imperial Arena.  Sand covered the floor, and though rectangular, it had rounded edges.  Stands stretched around the outside, and backed into the stands where the private boxes were was the Imperial Palace and the Emperor's Box, as well as mansions and palaces belonging to important nobles who also had their own private boxes attached to their homes.  

The entire place was of made of sandstone and marble and was fabulously decorated. A massive golden brazier stood above the Emperor's Box, being supported by two Tengu.  It was on fire, and the fire was said to never go out.  It was white fire too.  In the arena there were several pools of water around the edges. Many tricks and traps were riddled everywhere through this arena, to be activated by Mr. Showbiz's will.

“Today, we'll be witnessing the fierce battle between Trace Nightshadow and Aryianna Yan. The gates will open on my mark. With the combatants set, and the battlefield ready for them, let's give them a warm welcome!  Now before we begin, let's remind our fighters that they'll each have 500HP and will roll a random number of 50 instead of 20 for the Heavyweight Matches.  Attack and Defence stay the same, at 10.  Bailey will have the honour of the first strike!  Now without further ado...”

Trace Nightshadow

Trace walked out, surprised she had reacted the Finals, much less the Heavyweight Finals. From her last fight, she remembered Aryianna's Ice abilities that she used against their other opponent, but there didn't seem to be much water around for them to use. With a laugh, she turned to her opponent. 'Start off slow and work your way to the harder stuff. Save your energy' Trace reminded herself as she looked at Aryianna. 'Not. Gonna. Happen.' Trace stepped low to the ground, feeling the Earth beneath her feet and pushed hard against the soil, sending twenty giant shards of rock at Aryianna's torso. 'I'd rather finish this quickly if I can.'

Aryianna saw her opponent, and remained indifferent as she saw she was an Earth Bender.  Aryianna's opponent, Trace Nightshadow as her name was, sent a multitude of rocks at her, and while Aryianna was able to dodge several of the rocks, but a few caught her in the sides, and she flew back a bit.  Aryianna could feel her sides bruising, and she could feel a rib crack, and after coughing up a gob or two of congealed blood, she ignored the pain and focused only on the fight.  Aryianna had two elements at her disposal.  

The first, was Fire Bending, as her entire family could.  The second, was Light Bending, more rare, but still a good weapon.  So, Aryianna decided to catch her opponent off guard, she raised her hand and pointed a finger.  She aimed right for her opponent's hip, and then gathered chi in the tip of her finger.  Using the sun to convert that chi into solar energy and then, building a small glowing ball on the tip of her finger, Aryianna prepared to shoot a laser at her opponent, and then, when it was prepared, she did a pure white solar chi laser aimed right at her opponent's left side.

Trace Nightshadow

Trace perked up to watch the rocks hitting Aryianna. Just as she saw the damage being done, she smiled a bit. 'Maybe I should have gone easier?' She thought as she prepared for Aryianna's retort. The movements the woman made were unfamiliar to Trace, as she had never gone up against any light benders or seen any. The surprised her for a second, just long enough to delay her movements. As she watched the beam of light appear in front of her, Trace pulled a wall of Earth up and shielded herself from the blast, the wall starting to crack as it was hit. 'Okay, maybe not. Full attack' Trace stood and kicked the wall at her opponent, spraying bits and pieces of rock and dirt at Aryianna.
