Sudden Duel (Leosan, Loolaalee)

Drago noticed Yami's quick change in mood and back, "yami is something bothering you," he asked putting a hand on yami's shoulder .
Drago's grandfather smiled, "father like son," he said laughing a bit.
Drago looked at him confusingly, "what do you mean old man?"
the old man gave a smirk and walked away, " you four play nice while i'm gone," he said walking out of the house.
drago ran to ask him, what did he mean by 'father like son' but he seemed like to magically disappeared.

Yami realized that she had darkened, and quickly looked up at Drago. "Oh, yeah! I'm just tired, that's all." she said, and now that she thought about it, that was a very true statement. Not only was it almost sunset, but she had had an exhausting day. First running away from the bandits, then fighting with Leo, then getting kidnapped and escaping again, and the huge shock of Drago's family. "I just need to get some sleep. I'll go check in at the inn. By now, the innkeeper probably knows who I am, and will be happy to let me stay for a discounted price...hopefully." she said, and she turned to walk out of the house.

"well while you there maybe i should get a room before they run out, " he said putting an arm around yami, "see ya leo an-"
Leo grabbed drago by the ear, "you still a job to finish..."
"ow ow ow! please leo, ow!" drago pleaded while leo was pulling from his ear.
leo sighed, "alright," he said letting going of drago's ear, " have fun you two."
drago glared at leo for a while then smiled, "you too, oh by the way say hello to Ayame for me!"
Leo's face turned red, "you little brat!"
Drago held yami's hand and started running away from leo, "bye!"

Yami laughed a little at Drago and Leo's little conversation. She stopped laughing as her eyes fell on the setting sun. It was just at the point where a person could look straight at it and not hurt their eyes. She smiled. It was a beautiful sight to see, and after a day like today, it was a calming one as well. She stopped walking with Drago and gazed at the sun for a little while. She felt at peace, even if it was just for that one brief moment. She realized she was holding the two of them back, and shook her head. "Oh! Sorry about that! I just...I really like sunsets." Yami said.

Then, to change the subject, she smirked again. "So, who is this Ayame person that makes Leo so fidgety?" she asked Drago. She didn't really need to know the answer, but if she did, she could hold it over Leo's head if he ever bugged her or anything. It's always good to get useful information on people.

"i was joking around with him, she's the person leo is protecting. I tease both of them," he said, "kind of like revenge to every time he teased us." he said finally getting to the inn, "so should we go together or you go first?"

Yami smiled at Drago. "Why do we need to check in now? I say, we get our rooms, then spend the evening together. Besides-" Yami said, as her stomach grumbled. "I haven't eaten anything since Leo's banquet earlier today. We should go grab something to eat." She said, grabbing his hand and lacing her fingers between his. She was a little startled at her own actions. Where did all of this confidence come from? Normally, i'm a nervous wreck around him! she thought. Then she pushed the thought aside, and smiled at Drago again.

"alright then, i'll take you for dinner!" he said wrapping one of his arms around yami's shoulder, "your fine with me doing this?" he asked her hoping she wouldn't get offended or embarrassed in any way.

Yami's face turned a little pink as he wrapped her arm around her. There it is, that's what I was looking for. she thought. Then she realized he had asked her a question. "Ah, no, it's fine, really. I can't really afford a huge dinner anyway." she said with a sigh. And is was true. Although, she was finding some odd jobs, but most were in remote villages, places where it wasn't likely that she would be recognized. The problem was that once her powers slipped, even a little, she would never be able to show her face in those villages again. She remembered one village in the mountains of the Dragon Empire, where she chanced upon meeting the 9-tails. She shuddered. It wasn't a pleasant memory.

Drago pulled yami in a bit closer so he could give yami a quick peck on the cheek, "so yami, what do you think about the future?" he asked her, the  question itself made him blush a bit.

Yami was a little taken aback by the question. She had never taken a lot of time to think about the future, she was more focused on what was going on right then. Even at her most peaceful moments, she preferred to relish the time she had and enjoy the moment instead of worry about the future. But Yami had never thought about what she was going to do with her life, if she even made it that far. Who knows, she could be killed in a month, or she will die of old age. Fate has a funny way of messing with people like that.

Yami saw the pink in Drago's face, which didn't help with her own blush. She tried to respond so as not to have an awkward silence. "Oh, uh, the future? I-I don't know, I have never really thought about it. But, what about you?" she asked, glad that she had directed the conversation back at him. In all honesty, in the back of her mind, she hoped to at least survive long enough to one day get married to Drago.
