Sudden Duel (Leosan, Loolaalee)

Yami was running through the forests surrounding the Light State Capital. What was she running from? A group of thugs who wanted to kidnap her and hold her for ransom. Apparently, somebody had sold some information about her to this group, and now they were trying to find her and kidnap her, trying to get a large sum from the Air Temple Royalties. Note to self: Don't trust people, she thought.

She kept running, looking for a clearing where there would be enough room to call Fireball down. The only problem was that she was in a section of the forest that didn't have many clearings, and the ones she did find were too small. Plus, whenever she stopped to catch her breath or anything, she could hear them following her. Her hope was to at least get into the city before they captured her.

Yami wasn't paying too much attention to where she was going, and ended up running straight into some random person who was in the woods. She fell back on the ground. Without looking up, she stood, saying she was sorry, then turned in the direction of the city, ready to start running again. Maybe she would be able to find Drago in the city and get help from him. Or maybe even Leo. At this point, she was just ready to get away.

as the thugs continued chasing yami, a blast of flames from the sky exploded sending the thugs running from their lives, soon after crystal landed a few feet from yami and gave a small soft roar. crystal was trained to follow yami where ever she went, since a dragon's sense of scent is hundreds times stronger than a blood hound's.

Yami smiled. She walked over to Crystal, petting her head gently. "Thanks, Crystal." she said, then turned around again as a different part of the group surrounded her. She was just in a large enough clearing for dragon flight, but now it was too late. She drew her weapons, but she couldn't see behind her as a man armed with a club struck her in the head. She fell to her knees, her vision going black.

Yami was taken out of the forest to a small pathway, where there was a cart hitched up to an ostrich-horse. Yami was thrown into a cage in the back as she regained consciousness. She looked around. From here, she could see the city, and as the cart was driving away, she whistled her high pitch whistle to call Fireball. She knew that now only would Fireball hear it, but maybe, just maybe, Leo and Drago would hear and recognize it as well.

the blast of blinding light hit the cart making the thugs temperarily blind. the exact second the cage was opened and yami was pulled out. "are you alright," said a samiliar voice...Leo kantura. "yami do you hear me? are you alright?" he asked her agian.

Yami looked around, her vision adjusting from the blinding light. "Yeah, i'm fine. They didn't do anything to me except put me in this cage. Thanks for getting me out..." she paused as she tried to place the voice. Then it hit her. "...Leo. So did you hear my whistle, or...were you the person I ran into in the forest?" she asked him, wondering how he had gotten there so fast.

Leo laughed, "i Was one of the thieves...i took one of them out and took his spot" he said putting a hand on her head, "you really should become stronger even if it means to take control of the five tails yami," he said. "so how is your relationship with Drago, is it getting better or is it getting worse? and one more thing i challenge you to a duel."

Yami blushed as he mentioned her relationship with Drago. But instantly, the color disappeared as he mentioned a duel. A grin spread across her face. She had been training for this: one on one combat. Itami had taught her well, and because she had only just barely returned from her training, that meant that Leo didn't know about her knew weapon, that she actually was planning on showing Drago while she was in the light state. She looked up at him, throwing the cowl of her cloak over her head. "Challenge accepted." she said, mentally preparing herself for battle.

"alright then lets meet at my house, in the back there is a training area which we can spar inside of. and by the way, i know about you little training with itami...i'm not sure if it happened or not, so i'll just take my chances and say you did train with him..." he said walking towards his house

Yami shrugged. Frankly, Drago was the one who gave her the idea, so she figured Leo would know about it. Yami began to walk toward him, looking around, still uncertain if there would be more grunts nearby. There were at least 50 of them earlier, so she wasn't sure if more would be waiting for them back in the city.

"you look a bit worried? don't worry, i won't let my friend's girlfriend get hurt...except in the spar..." as he continued walking a group of ten grunts appears, "there she is," said one of the grunts. leo just smiled as he extended his hand and fired a beam of light straght through one of the men's heart and fell down dead. "anyone else want to meet the same fate?" he asked the grunts.
