Sudden Duel (Leosan, Loolaalee)

drago looked at his wound and noticed if the man slashed that quickly how come he didn't chop off his arm off, then drago slowly walked to the man, "yami, i won't loose. plus i know how that guy did that slash." he said glaring at the man as he slowly walked up to him, "you never used your sword instead you used a slow moving sharp wind," he said, "No human can do that, it's not logical" he said, "also how can i trust you that you aren't some biju hunter?" he asked.
the man gave a sigh, "i wish a came more earlier before you met each other, i guess-"
drago grabbed the man's neck and smashed him to the nearest wall ,"you don't want me to kill you do you?"

Yami stood, wiping the tears from her face. Gosh, when did I become so emotional? It used to be that nothing could make me cry. For so long after I ran away, I thought I didn't have any tears left in me, she thought. She turned to where Drago had the man pinned to the wall and walked up to him, anger now spreading across her face. "A bijuu hunter, eh? Well, if you really are nobility from the air kingdom, why don't you prove it? Give us some form of identification, or Drago here will probably kill you. He is pretty powerful, and he really hates bijuu hunters." Yami said.

the man spit into drago's face, "is that how you treat a noble from the air kingdom!"
drago looked at the man and wiped his face letting go of the man, " he's a noble, or a really good liar, but...you don't have orders to bring her back...right?"
the man looked at him ," what makes you so sure?"
drago grinned, " because you don't have guards...if you were sent to bring yami back you would've have at least a few guards."

Yami grinned as well. Drago had found the loophole. "So, even if you are a noble, you weren't sent her, at least not diplomatically. So, why are you here?" Yami asked. She was actually glad to know that the actual royals still didn't know if she were alive her not. The more subtle you can be, the better. Yami drew her knife, now at too close of range to the man to use her bow. "Start talking. We wouldn't want a little accident to happen, would we?" Yami asked. She noticed there was a dark tone in her voice. What? That...didn't feel like me... she thought. Looking around, she saw why. She was standing right next to a window.

Drago looked at yami, "yami...go take a rest i think you've been exposed to too much moon light." he said jokingly.
after yami left the man looked at drago, "you love her even though she's a jinjuriki?"
Drago sighed, "well it's a long story,"
the man gave a grin, "well i'll keep her with you under one condition..."
"what is it?" drago asked
"protect her with you life."
"drago gave a grin."

the next morning drago knocked on yami's door.

Yami nodded, quickly stepping away from the window. "Too much is bad...very bad..." Yami said, almost to herself as she walked back to her own room. Oh man, that was close. If I hadn't realized sooner, something bad could have happened. A terrible thing, to. I wanted something bad to happen. Yami punched herself in the stomach. You just shut up, okay? Oh, fine. I just thought you would want somebody to talk to to keep you awake so you don't have anymore...nightmares, the beast said. Yami shuddered. She definitely didn't want anymore nightmares.

She climbed in bed, trying as hard as she could to stay awake. I can go one night without sleep, she thought, but she knew she couldn't. At around three in the morning, she finally drifted off to sleep, and regretted it so much afterward.

Yami found herself staring at the most horrible scene ever. A beast that looked as if it were a cross between a dolphin and a horse was rampaging through a city. The city looked a lot like the light state capital. Yami wanted to scream when she counted the amount of tails the beast had to be 5. Yami wanted to run in, to help the people in need, but she couldn't. The scene shifted, zooming in on the beast. Standing below it was Drago. He was fighting the beast, using every skill that Yami had seen him use, and even some she had never seen. But he was growing tired, she could tell. The beast picked him up, grinning. "Long have I wanted to do this, Mister Phoenix. And finally, I have that chance." The beast said.

Yami tried to scream, to run in and do something, but she was frozen, and her voice wouldn't work. Drago was thrown, into the side of a cliff. Yami's image zoomed in on Drago's lifeless body, covered in blood.

Yami woke up suddenly, almost screaming. She held her tongue as tears began to stream down her face as she remembered those horrible images. "No, I won't let that happen, No!" she said to herself, then she heard a knocking at the door. Yami quickly wiped away the tears and got dressed, then opened the door. I won't tell him what I saw, she thought.

Drago opened the door and hugged yami, "good morning...um yami if you don't mind, do you want to go to the outskirts of the light state, there someone that i want to show you there but it will take a few days.

Yami smiled and hugged him back. She needed something to get her mind off of those terrifying images. "I would be glad to go with you. But, why exactly are we leaving?" Yami asked. She knew the light state was large as it used to be a nation of its own. She would be happy to take a little trip with Drago. "I will go with you, but you have to make sure your tent is actually usable, and that you bring a tent patch kit." She said, laughing a little. They had had an awkward night about a month ago, during the last full moon, when they had to share a tent because Drago's was ripped.

"let's just say it a long date," he said smiling a bit, "and we have to get there on foot or we'll miss it and i checked my tents and already got it ready." he wanted to show her something he found a few weeks ago, if one flies they'll completely miss it even if they flew half way. "get packing ready yami, this will be a trip you'll never forget!" he said smiling.

Yami smiled and hugged Drago. She turned back into her room, closing the door behind her. The smile disappeared. Did you like the little...giftI sent you last night? the bijuu asked. Yami punched herself in the stomach again, sitting down on the bed. Shut up. Just shut up. I don't need this right now. Just leave me alone! Yami shouted to herself. I'm afraid that's impossible. You and I are one. There is no way for you to change that. the beast said. Yami knew she was right. There was no way presently for Yami to block out the Bijuu.*

Yami finally stood up, and began packing her stuff. She didn't have much since she hadn't gotten a whole lot out. She walked out of the inn and to Fireball, who, as always, was waiting just outside. She loaded her stuff into his saddle. He was jumping around happily, excited to get flying again, but Yami placed her hand on his neck. "Sorry, boy, we're walking this time. We would miss a special thing if we flew." Yami said. She took off one of the two saddle bags and whistled. Immediately, Lightning came running. She loaded the bag onto him. "Come on, bud. If you're staying with us, you're carrying some stuff." she said, then left the two animals in the inn stable as she went back inside to meet up with Drago.

*((I know at the beginning of the topic I mentioned it being after Yami's training with Itami, but it really should be before since I havn't finished that topic yet. Just assume Yami never had the chi blocking bow))
