Clarissa gripped the woman's jacket as she moved them from one building to the other. She hated flying and the thought of not knowing where she was going freaked her out a bit. When she landed, Clarissa turned to Rose. "Thank you, although I'm not sure how well I would be as a slave. Not many people know about my earth bending." She told her, petting Ranger, who had started to get a little jumpy from being picked up and moved so much.

"neither do them...just just kiddnap any random civilian," rose was still holding the girl and the fox and jumped down to the building to the ground. "sorry if i moved a bit too much," she said as ranger jumped out of rose's arms. " i guess your safe now...if you want i could take you home or to an inn."

Clarissa shook her head as she stepped on the ground. "No, the moving around wasn't a problem. It was the flying that I dislike." She told Rose as Ranger ran up to nose her hand. "Yes, my dear, we are safe now." She began to pet his head as Rose mentioned taking her home. "Where are we? I think an inn would be best until they leave us alone. No sense in going home just to be carted off again." Clarissa stood and looked toward Rose. With a smile, she wrapped Rose in a quick hug before stepping back. "Thank you for everything, metal is one of my greatest weakness, so.."

" oh sorry about that...you know i met someone who was blind like you however he didn't use earth bending...he used sound bending to locate his surroundings," she said, "alright i'll take you to an inn but i don't think i could keep you there for longer than a week...i'm kind of low on money..." rose said giving a small laugh.

Clarissa smiled as she listened to Rose speak, she thought over their situation and looked down at Ranger. "Don't worry about that, I can cover the cost." Clarissa reached into an unseen pocket of her pants and pulled out her money. "I had just grabbed it in case I needed it when I left the house. Never know what may catch your eye." Clarissa smiled as she held up her coin bag.

"alright, lets get going then before those men come back" she said walking to the closest inn, "you know...i'm a non-bender but i didn't let that pull me down. i fought my weaknesses and got stronger, even stronger than some benders," as she entered an inn she payed for a night for both of them.

"Really?" Clarissa said as she followed the girl into the inn. "I don't know what I would do without my earth bending." She looked down at her hands and then back at Rose. She couldn't imagine not having any bending abilities and still be blind, much less how she would overcome the lack of sight. The innkeeper started to say something about Ranger no being allowed. Before he could finish his sentence, Clarissa laid a gold coin on the desk and turned to follow Rose to the room.

Rose started walking to her room, rose was tired and wanted to sleep, "well i need to sleep clarissa, goodnight," rose said as she gave clarissa her key and went to her room and fell asleep on the iin's bed.

Clarissa nodded and took her key before going to her own room. Ranger jumped onto the bed quickly, taking his normal spot without a second thought. Clarissa laughed at him before climbing in herself and falling asleep quickly beside him.

the next morning Rose knocked on clarissa's door, "wake up sleepy head!" she shouted. rose wanted to make sure clarissa was still there and wasn't kidnapped in the night...
