1st Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Heavyweight Quarter Final Round - First Match: NiyNiy (Tendo) Vs. Leosan

“Hello folks, and welcome to the first annual Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Heavyweight Quarter Finals!  We are about to begin our First Match!” The announcer said into his microphone, the noise blasting over the roaring crowd. The battle would take place in a long, rectangular Imperial Arena.  Sand covered the floor, and though rectangular, it had rounded edges.  Stands stretched around the outside, and backed into the stands where the private boxes were was the Imperial Palace and the Emperor's Box, as well as mansions and palaces belonging to important nobles who also had their own private boxes attached to their homes.  

The entire place was of made of sandstone and marble and was fabulously decorated. A massive golden brazier stood above the Emperor's Box, being attended to by two Tengu.  It was on fire, and the fire was said to never go out.  It was white fire too.   In the arena there were several pools of water around the edges. Many tricks and traps were riddled everywhere through this arena, to be activated by Mr. Showbiz's will.

“Today, we'll be witnessing the fierce battle between Ieyasu Leihing and Drago Phoenix. The gates will open on my mark. With the combatants set, and the battlefield ready for them, let's give them a warm welcome!  Now before we begin, let's remind our fighters that they'll each have 500HP and will roll a random number of 75 instead of 20 for the Heavyweight Matches.  Attack and Defence stay the same, at 10.  Without further ado...”





 

Drago Phoenix was wearing his black uniform today and walked out of the gates, this arena was different than the last one he was in...he looked around and saw even more people than before, which kind of made him uncomfortable...however this was the fire nation and he was in this arena numerous times, and knew it's blueprints like the back of his hands...except for the traps, which are moved after every battle. drago fired a fire ball in the air hoping to create storm clouds like last time, and end the battle early. the heated up his hands and saw a figure and fired two spinning fire balls at the figure.

Ieyasu stepped out into the ring, and the first thing he was met with was two fireballs. Ieyasu raised an ice shield, and it nearly worked, but the force threw him back and did damage. Ieyasu stood up quickly, and covered his fist in water, freezing it to ice. He swung a water whip at Drago's waist, and pulled him in towards his icy fist, hoping to slam him in the stomach. Drago's only hope would be to break free from this. If he could.

drago was hit hard but then stood up slowly wiping off some dust from his clothes,"antoher water bender? i was expecting something new but oh well," he said griving a grin as he heated his whole body and extended his arm and fired a super heated flame, a gold flame at his opponent.

Gold flames. Interesting, but too slow for Ieyasu. Ieyasu blocked with a wall of water then spun around and entered the octopus stance, sinking down low as water tentacles formed around him. Ieyasu shot out the tentacles and grabbed Drago. The tentacles would take turns throwing Drago around, slamming him into the floor and walls of the arena and tossing him around like a rag doll. "Let's see you get out of this," smiled Ieyasu slyly.
