The Taste of Fire [Sprite, Bailey]

bree nodded and drained her wine when it arrived before getting up and paying for her drinks. and went to stand next to the door to wait.

Ace went out the door, looking at the two. "So. What's our form of transportations?" He asked, quickly.

Kimi watched as Bree walked out the door and followed chase, paying her tab as she left. "I believe we can walk until we get to the pier. I may have some connections there depending on where we are going." Kimi replied as she kept her gaze on Bree. Something is off about her. I can't quite tell what it is, but this isn't the same girl that I had traveled with before. Kimi thought to herself as she looked over at the pier.

bree walked out of the bar and toward the pier that kimi mentioned. as she walked she thought she felt something follow them. about the time they approached the first warehouse someone grabbed her. she was at the back of the group and they had grabbed her by the mouththey pulled her into an ally and threw her against the wall. she didn't see his face because he had buried his face in her hair, however she did feel his hand pulling up her robes. she swung her hand at him and hit something hard. by now he had her robes up to her waist. as he started grabbing her rear she grabbed for the thing she hit and pulled it out. she kneed him in the groin and he fell away from her. she kicked him in the face and he fell back with a broken nose and a shout. she sank to her knees and sank the dagger she had pulled into his heart. when she withdrew the dagger blood splattered onto her face. she stayed there for a minute then stood back up and stumbled out of the alley, covered in blood and the cuff on the dagger hand was missing. her tattoo was showing and very different.

Kimi turned hearing something behind her, but when she turned to look, nothing was there. She glanced around quickly. Bree's missing. She thought as she looked at Ace. "Ace, where did Bree..." Kimi started to say when she caught a glimpse of Bree out of the corner of her eye. "There she is." Kimi said as she ran forward. "Bree, are you okay?" Kimi stopped just in front of Bree and took in her friend. "Bree, what happened to you?" Almost instinctually, Kimi pulled out some water from her jug and started to help clean up Bree's face. As she looked over Bree for any other injuries, she noticed the different tattoos.

''i-i'm fine.'' she said as kimi cleaned her up ''a man tried to touch me.'' she lifted the dagger. ''he wont be touching anyone again.'' she noticed her tattoos were exposed and covered them back up. ''can we leave before the guards get here?''

"Well, let's go then! You have a bison, don't you? We'll use that." Ace said.

Kimi was concerned for Bree as she turned back to Ace. "Yes, lets go." She said as she looked around for a moment. "Wait, you said you didn't have Tala anymore. Is she okay?" Kimi's gaze rested on Bree for a moment before turning. People change, Kimi, even the Air Monks could change. She thought as she looked over Bree again. Something about Bree bothered Kimi, but she couldn't quite put her finger down on it just yet.

Bree got a dark look on her face. ''Tala is fine. she is pregnant and the monks took her from me'' she replied, nearly spitting the last half of her sentence
