A bad case of amnesia (closed)

Tereto held his hand up in a lazy wave. "No problem young lady. I don't like people attacking others in my woods."

Drago fallowed the man until he reached the the village, and slowly put yami down, "all the walking made me tired...yami do you think you can walk on your own now?" he asked his beloved girlfriend.

Tereto knew he couldn't leave this group. Whoever tried to kill them in the woods was still out there. And until he was dead Tereto's home wasn't safe. The girl, Yami, needed rest first and the woman who left on the dragon needed a healer. Tereto was due to do some trading in town anyway. He could keep an eye on the group until they got ready to leave then offer his services as a body guard.

Yami smiled at Drago. When she spoke, her voice was shaky and uneven. "Yeah, I can walk. There is no reason for you to carry me when I am perfectly fine" then she thought, well, perfectly fine physically, anyway. Today will probably leave me emotional scars- as if I don't have enough of those already. Yami turned to their escort. Thank you for helping us. My name is Yami, by the way. What is yours?" Before Yami got an answer, she felt a tugging in her stomach. She recognized that feeling, and turned to see Setomaru standing there waiting for them. She smiled and waved him over. "Do you know which healer Bailey was taken to? I want to check on her, make sure I didn't do any permanent damage."

The nurse walked up to Bailey and took her hand before Bailey could reach and grab anything on her left side. "Miss, please don't. You don't want to move right now." Bailey gave her a confused look as the nurse slowly turned and walked back out the door into the very poorly lite hallway. The darkness of the hallway enveloped the nurse quickly and refused to allow Bailey to see much past the door. She gave up looking outside and glanced back down at her arm. Where it was missing a moment ago, she now had a wooden replica sitting there. The wooden arm was a perfect replica of her own, right down to the tiny scar on her wrist from where the bow's string would strike her. She walked carefully and curiously as she wiggled her fingers starting with the thumb down to the pinky and was amazed to find she had full control of them. Still something did not seem right about how it appeared there, even though she couldn't feel the pain from the amputation or the replacement. Must be really great medicine. She thought as she kept examining what she could do with the arm.

Outside her mind, the doctors struggled against Bailey's movements. Trying to keep her arms down and controlled so they could repair the muscle, tissue, and skin from the arrow wound. It would be a simple task, if they could get Bailey to stay still in the bed. The wound was already cleansed and cleaned, but the stitching still needed to be done by a still and steady hand. "Miss, please, stay still and this will be over faster." A blood bending nurse asked Bailey, secretly hoping the night would bring a full moon to help them work. Until night fell, the nurse could only hold down Bailey's right arm and stay out of the way of the doctor's movements.

(OOC: Yes, Bailey's having a hallucination from the knock out medicine. Her arm is relatively fine if the doctor and nurses can hold her down long enough to mend it.)

The group finally made it to the village. Yami asked Setomaru what healer Bailey was taken too, so he replied "Eh...don't ask me. Drago was the one that sent him..." he looked at Okashi, who had just climbed from his sand-gouge to his shoulder. "Oh, and where've you been?" he said, smiling as he tossed a seed into Okashi's mouth. "...anyway, what are we gonna do now? Take Yami-chan to a hospital-assuming she's hurt?" he asked.

Drago nodded, "alright just in case..." he said going to the nearest hospital, there he heard bail scream and rushed over to her, "Bailey! is she ok?!"

he watched as the man walked to the healers. when he walked in Tereto just stood at the door to the building and waited.

Yami ran into the room Bailey was in, hoping Bailey could see her. "Bailey! Calm down! Listen to my voice! You recognize me! Just stay still so the healers can help you!" Yami cried. Bailey's arm looked like it would be alright, although there was a large tear in the sleeve, where Yami could see the arrow wound. Luckily, it didn't appear to be too serious. But there was a lot of blood on Bailey's clothes. Yami's heart sank with guilt. She had done that, to one of her only friends. She just hoped Bailey had heard her call.

Bailey was laid down on a bed with restraints around her legs and the nurses holding down her arms as the doctor worked on her. "Your friend is going to be fine, she just has to get through this surgery and the medicine we gave her to knock her out backfired. She's hallucinating right now." One of the nurses told Drago as she tightened the restraints. "She seems to think that her arm is gone and is fighting us, this would be so much easier if it were a full moon. We don't even know if she can hear us."

In her mind, Bailey calmed down as she looked at her new arm. It worked just like a regular arm, but just looked different. She relaxed and heard something like Yami's voice calling to her. She looked around, but couldn't find her friend and something pulled her back against the bed. With a gasp, Bailey woke up fully aware of her surroundings and all the doctors and nurses trying to work on her. "Ouch!" She complained as she felt the sting of the stitches in her arm. "Well, atnleast I know it's still there." She said to herself as she laid back down on the table, flinching at each stitch. "Yami, don't blame yourself. I've been through worst, and will probably suffer much worst than that in the future." Bailey looked at her friend's concerned look and reached out with her good hand for Yami's. "I, ouch, am going to, ow, be okay." She tried to give Yami a comforting look, but the doctor's stitching didn't help and every once and a while she would flinch.

The doctor finished up quickly now that Bailey had stopped moving and let her sit up. She carefully examined the thin line of stitches and sighed. "Its going to be a while before I do anything with my bow." She sighed and looked over at all of her friends. "Did everyone's trek go well?"
