Drago gave a grin, "alright," he said firing a huge bolt of lightning into the sky soon, after another lightning bolt fell and was at least two time more powerfull than before, "i was assigned to capture the queen dragom Boa," he said smiling, " since it was more dangerous than the others, and since it can cause a catastrophe if it went on a rampage," drago captured the lightning and aimed it at the queen snake coming out of the mouth of the volcano, and fired however the bolt ricochet off the scales and the queen Boa didn't even feel it..."i'm suprised it even felt the heat of the mamgma in there, the hea of lightning is as hot as down there!"

"So, plans? Anyone?" Ace said, looking at them. "Man, if only we had a crystal bender." he flew back to the ground and charged a lightning pulse in his hand. He ran towards the snake, and palmed him. The snaked got pushed back about half an inch before going after Ace. "Worth a second try, eh?" he said, looking up at the group, smiling. While he was looking at them, it started to move closer to him. He jumped back, glaring at it. "Ah!" he said, surprised.

Yami looked around, seeing if she could see something she could use against the snake. She didn't want to be the one who needed protection anymore, even if her arm was injured. This time she would take care of herself. She felt like she had proven this point when she killed three of the snakes. While pondering this thought, the snake charged again, and Yami dove out of the way just before she got hit. She had tumbled to her right, meaning that when she rolled, she had landed on her bad arm. She grasped the wound in pain, then rolled up her sleve, but didn't find what she expected to find.

Instead of the wound being reopened like Yami thought it would, it was glowing white, mainly on one spot that appeared to have been reopened but was now healed. The white chakra moved across the wound, sealing any small openings. The 5-tails' power could heal the wound, but once again the scar remained and the muscle was still sore, but at least Yami wasn't bleeding anymore. The white chakra began to spread, Yami jumped back as the chakra reached her elbow and shoulder, and still spreading. She stared in awe at the wound and the power. She said in her mind, Why are you helping me? Didn't I tell you that I don't want your help? The beast replied with, You honestly think you can bring down that snake? And leaving it alive...it's almost impossible. Almost. With my help, you may be able to bring the beast down and fulfill your wish of leaving it alive. But why? The only reason I still want it alive is because Drago wants it alive, and last I checked you hated him. Actually, quite the contrary. You see, human, his power has...intrigued me. I hope to be able to force him to use the power so I may witness just how strong he is.

Yami shook her head, although kept her eyes focused on her arm, where the chakra had now spread to her wrist. No. I don't want your help, and I won't force Drago to use the curse mark. It's dangerous for all of us. Yami told the beast. Don't worry, I won't take control...this time. I'm simply lending you my power so you survive long enough for me to see the power of the boy. The snake should be enough to induce the curse mark. Yami realized that she had no choice, then quickly pulled her sleeve back down, hoping the other two weren't staring at the wound and the chakra.

drago dodged the snake as well however he noticed something, when i lounged at them it wasn't opening it's mouth. the snake lounged agian, this time drago unsheathed his blade and tried to atleast scratch it, instead the blade was cut in half from the scales at drago dodged in the last second, "carefull!" drago yelled,"he scales are like a saw don't-" be for he could finish seven scales was flying towards him?the scales was the size of a small plate, with . he dodged all of them but one which slice through his stomach and went out of his back. drao felt a sharp pain as he fell to the ground coughing out blood.

"Drago!" Yami screamed, dropping to his side. The blood was unrealistic. Tears streamed down her face and landed on his as she tried to stop the blood flow. A wound like that was not easily healed. In fact, Yami had never known a survivor who was cut clear through the middle. "Drago, hang in there. I won't let you die. I won't!" Yami told him, trying to work through the tears. She realized that there was nothing she could do, and looked into his eyes. "Drago, i'm sorry. I can't- she was cut off by the snake charging again. A new anger flared in her eyes, and she drew her knife, her body now surrounded with white chakra. She jumped up toward the snake, diving the blade into its left eye. It screeched in pain, but this seemed to only make it angry.

Ace's eyes started to turn red again as the shard went through Drago's stomach. "Now your getting annoying." he said, as Yami thrust her blade into it's eye. He went beside her as it was about to attack her and sliced a little bit of it's non-crystal face off. "Let us fight together." he said, looking at Yami, as he lightning punched the same part of it's face, sending it back. "Your turn!" he yelled to Yami. "By the way...what's wrong with the Drago guy?"

Drago was coughing out blood, and brerathing heavily, he lost alot of blood, "i should have listened to Leo and Itami," he said coughing more blood out, "Blood r-rose," he said before he collapsed unconscious.

Sena, a mercenary of the Bloody Rose, sat concealed in the leaves a tree, silently watching the events of the day unfold. She had been given direct orders to keep watch over this Drago Phoenix character, and make sure that he didn't get himself killed. Sure enough, below her, he was in the middle of getting himself killed. After all, if Itami had confidence in the boy's survival skills, he wouldn't have sent a covert escort to watch over him. Her master's words still rung in her head.





Itami had even smiled at her. ITAMI had SMILED. Few individuals were privilege to Itami's emotions. Him showing emotion to her was a tremendous honor, not to be taken lightly. Thus, she had embarked on the task, observing Drago everywhere he went, using the same stealth skills that he would soon learn.


Sena was taken out of her moment of thought, however, as a cry came from Drago's lips. “B-blood Rose...” he said.


Blood rose? Did he mean “Bloody Rose”? He DID appear to be dying... One way to find out.


Sena slid down the base of the tree she was in, using an assassin-devised technique, wherein she bent ice under her feet. Hitting the ground, she melted the ice, returning it to vapor in the air, and landing on the lizard's back, her hidden blade in it's left eye, and one of her crossbow bolts in it's right eye. The creature shrieked in pain, as she jumped off of it, in a neat side-flip, filling the creature's apparent nostrils with ice as she did so. As soon as she landed, she sprinted to Drago's location, sliding toward him, rolling, and coming up next to him on one knee.


Everyone in the area was treated to a perfect (though brief) view of Sena, in her white Assassin robes. She had a relatively tomboyish face, and was often mistaken as a male. From the top down, she wore a white assassin hood, which obscured her eyes, from eye-level, allowing relative anonymity. Further down, she wore white robes, with an intricate design on them, complemented by orange trim. Atop this, she wore iron spaulders, which were kept on her body by overlapping leather straps. On her left hand, she wore a leather glove, which universally identified the arm on which the hidden blade was kept, for those with eyes trained to notice such things. Her left hand was bare, and held her wooden crossbow.

Around her waist was a tied light-blue sash, indicating her assassin rank, which was tied around a protective, oversized belt, which lessened the power of body-blows. Finally, she wore brown leather combat boots, which tied up with overlapping laces, and buckles, on the back.



Grabbing Drago's unconscious body, Sena quickly bent water up from the nearest source, taking some from the air as well, She made a small platform on the ground, which she continually bent ice under, quickly lifting them about 20 feet up, on what appeared to be an icy mushroom. The lizard was no longer a threat, since it lacked the ability to climb the mushroom. If it decided to try and knock the mushroom down, it would be close enough to the ice that Sena could make it a part of the foundation. Having sufficiently fortified the pillar that held them up, there was no way that the lizard could get to them before Drago was healed, or even within the next several days.


Taking a bit of water from the ice mushroom, she soaked the wound in water, and began the painstaking healing process...

Sena:

After Yami had thrown her knife at the snake, she turned back to Drago and started running back toward him as she realized he was unconscious, but stopped suddenly as some girl dressed in white randomly appeared. Yami paused momentarily to wonder who this person was, then realized that she probably had something to do with an assassin organization, judging by the blue sash. When the girl made the huge ice mushroom, Yami climbed trees to get to the top to see what in the world that girl was doing to Drago.

When she finally got to the top, Yami knelt down beside Drago, holding his hand, tears welling up in her eyes again. "Just hang in there, you'll be okay. I don't know who this girl is, but I hope she can help you. Yami turned to the girl, "You can help him, right?" Yami asked, noticing that the girl was a waterbender. Without waiting for an answer, Yami called to Ace, "You should probably get up here, it will be safer than down there" then turned back to Drago.


Drago's face was deathly pale. He had lost a lot of blood, both from the wound and from coughing a lot up. Even now it looked like a bit of blood might be dripping from his mouth, although that could have been from his vomiting earlier. Yami's tears fell on Drago's face as she looked over him. How could I have let this happen? she thought, I was so determined on not being the one who needed help that I neglected to protect him. How could I have been so careless? Yami kept yelling at herself in her head. She knew that if Drago were to die, she could never forgive herself, and likely she would lose control of the bijuu and burn down this island.

Yami shook those terrible thoughts out of her head, then kept repeating the same phrase over and over: "Don't die Drago. Don't die...don't die..."
