Northern Water Tribe: The Children Meet

Haru was juggling the fire around and playing around, for when she noticed the red blur of Fai in the distance gaining speed towards her. she stopped bending and cuffed her hand around her eyes looking towards Fai. Its Rikka Too! Haru thought taking a few steps back and crouching down behind the bridge railing.

"Kiari! It my sister, Hide!" Haru whispered as the wolf had came close enough for Rikka to hear them. "Oh, man.." She murmured as she realized she was to late this time.

Kiari gazed up from where he'd been watching Haru and her beautiful fire. Another girl was coming towards them, older, with a wolf walking alongside her. Kiari eyed the wolf and the girl calmly, his feminine face expressionless.

This girl seemed nervous. Or was she angry? Disappointed? Kiari pursed his lip, attempting to come up with the right words.

"Hide!" Haru whispered to him, but by then the other girl had already seen everything. "Oh man..." moaned the girl. The other girl, Haru's sister, was already upon them.

Kiari blinked in greeting, moving slightly in front of Haru.

Haru crossed her arms and sitting against the bridge railing. How did she fine me! I don't want to go back home! She thought pouting. You Meany Fai! Your never on my side! Haru cried out at the wolf in her head. A small tear dripped down her face in disappointment as her sister came closer.

Rikka met up with them, Fai looking straight at the boy. Rikka sighed, "Hop on , we are going home. You were suppose to stay home today. Tell your little friend good-bye. " Rikka sounded serious and upset, even avoiding eye contact with Haru.

Fai did a slight growl at the boy but seeing how young he was, he stopped and merely gave a sigh.

Fai looked at Haru serious. He didn't want to talk infront of someone he didn't know, so he just motioned her to come with his paw while Rikka had her arms crossed looking to the side.

Haru was quiet with no reply and didn't want to go back to her home and staying inside. She especially didn't want to leave Kiari. She looked into her sister's eyes and tears came to her eye's. "Please don't make me go, I'm happy here.." She murmured.

Kiari's displeasure was clear, but he was unsettled by the girl's beast to do or say much of anything. He glanced at Haru out of the corner of his eye, then looked up at her sister. "Um..." he began, feeling his mouth suddenly become dry. "C-Can I come too?"

He reached out to place a hand on Haru's shoulder. "Please?"

Fai smiled then suddenly spoke, "... Come, Haru. Come, both of you two." Rikka looked at Fai, "Fai?! Haru can't get her wa--" Fai interrupted her and raised his voice, "Rikka." Rikka's eyes were wide, she then looked to the side as she sat on her wolf silent.

This is would be the first time Haru has seen Fai raise his voice to Rikka.

Fai then looked at the boy and girl, "Come. Hop on."

Haru's tear stopped crying and a smile brightened up her face. She was so excited and happy for words. She ran up to Fai and hugged his nose, giggling. And then ran back over to Kiari, looking at him, smiling. She then reached down and grabbed his hand, pulling him to the wolf, trying to get on the large wolf.

Kiari climbed onto the wolf, marveling at its intelligence. He clung to the fur on his neck, Haru seated behind him, as if she wanted to make sure he didn't fall. His elegant violet eyes fell on Rikka. She still seemed a bit displeased, but relenting.

His gaze fell back to the beautiful beast. He smiled and made a soft cooing sound of joy. Turning back to Haru, his eyes were gleeful. He was happy she wasn't sad anymore.

Rikka avoided looked at them and just talked to Fai, "Let's get home before our Aunt finds out we are gone. She wouldn't be pleased... exactly why I wanted somebody to be at home!"

Fai sighed and turned around, then ran as fast as he could towards their home.

Rikka held onto the fur tight and then looks behind her to see if the two were managing the speed.
