Escape

"Yeah, don't sneak up on me or I'll kill you" said Kouzai.

"Hey man...no problem. I respect people's personal space. Don't Worry. Zoz on the other hand...He just wants food. Don't let him scare you." replyed Kozzan, more than a little weary of Kouzai. He looked at Dakota, then to the other person. "Uh...I don't believe we've met. What's your name?" He asked, preffering to know those who he was travelling with.

Shan said "Calm down my friend. He did nothing to you." Shan looked around, the group was getting bigger and then he turned to Kouzai and asked "When are we going to go?"

Kozzan looked from the person he was talking to to Kouzai as the question was asked. The other two seemed friendly enough, but there was something about Kouzai that seemed to make him uncomfortable. He didn't say anything though, and kept to himself.

Shan looked at the boy and gave a late reply "I am Shan and the one next to me is Aras." He turned back to kouzai to wait for a reply and then looked back at Kozzan. Shan moved closer and said "I did not catch your name, I blame the old age. What is your name agian?"

"Sorry. My name is Kozzan, and this," he patted Zoz's head, causing the little lemure's head to bounce, and him to shriek a bit, "Is Zoz. Its nice to meet you both." He then moved a little closer, and whispered, "Is uh...Kouzai always edgy? I almost came in here with a whole in my spine!" He chuckled, and waited for a response.

Shan nodded and said "Yes he is like that at times." He leaned back and then looked at Kouzai and then Kozzan. "He is nice though, but when he is mad make sure you are not on his bad side." He chuckled and then said "It is nice to meet you Kozzan." He looked at Zoz, "You to Zoz."

Zoz chirped in reply and Kozzan nodded. Note to self....stay away from Kouzai when he's mad he thought, eyeing the man. He nodded to Aras, then took a step back, and leaned on the staff. Zoz climbed to the top and sat there scratching his ear. He looked back at Kouzai, intent on learning about there task of returning to the capital.

Kouzai suddenly blanked out, he stood there for a second disconected from the world. When he came back into it he turned to Shan a frown on his face "Unfortunately old friend, the situation at the capitol will have to wait..." said Kouzai "Just got a message from Hydra and her team on Water Bender Island.....they were out on patrol a while ago and saw 40 maybe 50 Fire Navy Ships on the horizon......Elite Class....that's not the worst part.....heading the army is a Fire Nation Cruiser....Royal Class....." Kouzai looked at the others than back to Shan.

Kozzan's stomach sank. Not them bastards... he thought, grasping his staff until his knuckles were white. He stood motionless in thought for a second then his eyes lit up. "Wait! I think i know someone who could help us.....though i don't know how much just he could do against a whole armada...but he's powerful....an old friend of mine.....Air Prince Kaas. He's a powerful bender...a skilled practitioner, and a helluva thinker. But the problem is.....we have no way to get into touch with him....." Kozzan's shoulders slumped again as he though of the flaw himself.
