Lucian smiled. "Yes, that is the message," he told her soothingly.

Lucian's eyes sharpened once more. "Very sharp, Shetani. If you need anything else, come to me." Lucian nodded his head, inwardly satisfied in himself.

Shetani smiled at him. "Alright, I'll go apologize." Fixing her hair, brushing herself off, the demoness turned to go, stopping just before the forest path started again. She turned around and gave him one last look. "Hey, thanks. I owe you one." With that Shetani swept onto the tangled forest path, the uprooted bushes still there, and headed back to the little house that Kishiu and her sometimes shared. She would check there once more before headed out to look for him.
