The 1st Light of Dawn Tournament | Labyrinth of Champions | Phase 1 | Entrant #1 - Audurna Yan

For an undead, demonic, flaming dog, he's quite lithe.  He's dodging all of your attacks.  Every swing of your dagger, ever knife throne.  Mak'ron barks as he laughs in your face.  At least that's what his barking sounds like.  It's unnerving and it's throwing you off but you refuse to give in, and Mak'ron knows this.  Perhaps its the dark magic or the fact that in life he was trained well, but either way he's smarter than most dogs.  Even demonic ones.

In fact he's even smarter than the Felhounds you just fought.  This worries you.  Good, that's what he wants.  He knows it does and it's working for him.  You hesitate in one of your attacks and he takes the opening.  Opening his jaws wide he aims to snap them down, shut tight, right on your shoulder.  He wants to latch down, pull and rip your arm right off.  Mak'ron does not play.  Mak'ron hunts, and he kills.

Audurna dodging the flaming fangs and the numerous burns, cuts, bleeding and pain that would come along with being hit by such an attack. For an undead, flaming hellhound, Mak'ron was rather resilient and quite determined. Most undead things were mindless and one-track minded, not Mak'ron though. No...he was clever, and cunning and he KNEW what he was doing, and what he wanted, and just how to get it.

It was almost like the mind of a man, and the most advanced of hunters and predators were all mashed inside the brain of these flaming hellhound. It was a possibility of course, knowing everything else that lived within the grey stone walls of the Labyrinth of Champions, but as to whether or not it was true, Audurna did not want to even know.

Steeling herself, she leapt on to Mak'ron's back, and raised her blades hide, pointing the tips down towards Mak'ron's spine. She was going to end this here and now.

Mak'ron is hit hard by your attack, and now he's near dying.  He's not quite dead yet though, and in his final moments the hound wants revenge.  He wants to rip your throat out and devour your flesh and watch you bleed out and die.  He is loyal to his king, even if the king abandoned him long, long ago.  With a growl, flames slowly dying away in Mak'ron's maw and on his body, he prepares to pounce.

The great beast barks, howling, yowling, snarling.  Then he leaps, jumping on you, looking to rip you to shreds.  His teeth gnash together, he claws slash at flesh and clothe alike.  Mak'ron does not care, Mak'ron only cares to spill blood.  With a howl he pauses, then continues, trying to rip you to pieces with his massive, flaming fangs.

Mak'ron yowls in pain as you lop off its head, and it lolls to the side, flopping about as it bounces and rolls away from its now disembodied corpse. The hound bleeds flame, poison and lava. It is dead. Dead and gone. It's not long before the corpse turns to ash and the beast is gone. Congrats, you've killed Mak'ron. The demon's ashes flutter away into a sudden wind. You think nothing of it, not feeling the darkness it carries.

You proceed to head on, but that is not your destiny. No. No it is not...the world shakes again. You don't know what's happening. You try to run, but you're too late. The floor falls away at your feet, and you find yourself thrown into another twisting nether between the worlds. You don't know where you're going. Your can't see anything in the torrent of darkness. Then finally the world spits you out.

You awaken on the other side of the portal, and find yourself standing before the massive keep. It's dark masters are tired of you ruining their plans. They will end you themselves. You find yourself standing beside two different adventurers who are there to help you. Together, the three of you are to climb the keep and defeat the demons within. Good luck.
