Kamui was able to break free at the last moment, and dodge the flaming white knife that would've hit her shoulder. Kamui kicked Izanagi in the gut, sending him backwards and pushing him off of her. Her breath hadn't completely returned, but Kamui didn't have time to wait with Izanagi. They both wanted this win, and both were willing to knock each other senseless to get it.

With a growl of ferocity, Kamui covered her limbs in flame and charged in towards Izanagi. The flames on her feet and hands shaped themselves into the effigy of a roaring lion. Each of these flaming lines masked a heavy foot or fist and slammed themselves into Izanagi's blocks. Finally, after several back and forth blocks and attacks, Kamui aimed a flaming fist for an opening underneath Izanagi's armpit.

Izanagi smiled as his cousin started swinging back. She wasn't ready to give up the fight just yet, and that made Izanagi happy. He was sorry they had to fight each other, but at least they would do so as equals, refusing to give up. Kamui aimed a flaming fist at his armpit, and Izanagi HAD to dodge this. He shifted to the side, caught Kamui's arm under his and held it tight in place. The flames on her fist died out as he stopped her attack. Izanagi debated what he would do from here. Then he decided. Turning to the side, Izanagi held Kamui's wrist tight, then snapped her arm.
