3rd Tenkaichi Bending-kai | Lightweight Division | Final Round | Match 10 – [#7] Izanagi vs. [#22] Leilani vs. [#16] Alyssandra

“Hello folks, and welcome to the first annual Tenkaichi Bending-Kai Lightweight Semi-Final Round!  We are about to begin our third match!” The announcer said into his microphone, the noise blasting over the roaring crowd. The battle would take place in a circular Ba Sing Se arena, which had pools of water around the edges. Tricks and traps were riddled everywhere through this arena, to be activated by Mr. Showbiz's will.

“Today, we'll be witnessing the fierce battle between Izanagi Ezofuji-no-Tsukuyomi, Leilani Ezofuji-no-Susano'o and Alyssandra Ezofuji-no-Tsukuyomi. The gates will open on my mark. With the combatants set, and the battlefield ready for them, let's give them a warm welcome!  Now before we begin, let's remind our fighters that they'll each have 100 HP and will roll a random number of 30 instead of 20 for the Lightweight Matches.  Attack and Defence stay the same, at 10.  Izanagi will have the honour of the first strike!  Now, without further ado...”

Izanagi entered the arena, and was pleasantly surprised to see his cousin, Leilani and his sister Alyssandra. Izanagi couldn't help but laugh; he had come from a battle against his other cousin, Kamui, who was also Ieyasu's sister. He had also fought Ieyasu just before this match. Before that Izanagi had battled against Mai. It was ironic, that half the tournament was made up of his family. Izanagi supposed he was bound to face off against them at some point. Funny though. Every fight so far had been against family. Now it was against his first opponent's younger sister, and on top of that, his own sister. Fire vs. Fire vs. Dark. Fun.

Izanagi knew enough about Alyssandra to know she had to be taken out first. She wanted his crown, and she would stop at nothing to prove she was better suited to it than he was. Izanagi needed to take her out first. Leilani could wait. Izanagi had to start getting closer to his sister, because any kind of distance made it dangerous. Izanagi distracted Alyssandra and Leilani a breath of majestic white flame that was aimed right at them. Even if it didn't hit, it would allow Izanagi some time to cover a good bit of distance between them, and that would prove more useful than anything.

Leilani was here for three reasons: 1. To find her sister and bring her home.  2. To see her distant cousins that she hadn't seen in a long time.  3. To win.  Of course, her first match here wasn't working so well for that.  Leilani tried to dodge the flying bits of Earth, rock and stone that kept flying at her when she fought Trace.  She dodged a few, many hit her in the back, sides or chest.  Leilani gained a few cuts, scratches, several bruises, a bruised rib, and was knocked to the ground.  In the end, Leilani had lost and walked away fairly injured.

Luckily Leilani had made up for that bitter loss by defeating her last opponent and moving on to the Semi-Finals of the Lightweight Division.  The match just before this proved to be another victory as well. It wasn't what she had expected, but of course, it was better than nothing.  Now Leilani had a real shot at winning.  If she could be crowned Tenka Musou, the Strongest Warrior Under the Heavens, she could easily defeat her sister and bring her back home where she belonged.  Now enough hoping.  Time to get serious. Her cousins Izanagi struck first, aiming a breath of white flame at her and Alyssandra. Leilani dodged easily, backing and getting out of reach of the flames.

Time to retaliate. Using her Dark Bending, she gathered twelve spinning balls of dark matter that circled around parallel to her back, as she held out her arm, the balls travelled down the length of her arm in single-file and shot themselves towards Izanagi. He had struck her first after all.

The Ba Sing Se Arena had never let Alyssandra down. Neither had the Imperial Arena. Every time she stepped into this ring to fight for the title of Tenka Musou she had won, and won big. Now was her third year in this tournament, and each year she competed she had one a title in at least one weight class. Last year was Lightweight, and it looked like this year would be too. She was fighting her cousin Leilani, and her brother Izanagi. Leilani was strong, but Izanagi was the true prize. The Crown Prince and her younger brother who had stolen the crown from her.

It wasn't his fault he was born next, but it was his fault that he was such a bloody prodigy. If Alyssandra could defeat him here and now, she could defeat him in an Agni Kai for the throne at his coronation in a few months. It would be her chance now to thrash and embarrass Izanagi in front of the entire world. Now was her chance. Dodging the flaming breath, Alyssandra flipped back, put more distance between her and Izanagi and shot a bolt of black lightning at him. This was different from the aesthetic black lightning that her sister Izanami used. This was the real deal. The kind used by Kasai Suzaku. The deadly kind. It screeched as it shot towards her brother, right for his shoulder.

((OOC: That block was towards Alyssandra, and I have no choice but to take the damage from Leilani. Either way it really doesn't matter now...I'm getting hit by both anyway XD))

The lightning streaked towards Izanagi, struck him in the shoulder, and blasted him backwards. Having caught him in the shoulder, the lightning spun him around as the force pushed against the left side of his body, unbalancing him. Izanagi struck the ground, skidding against the sand. He had a few seconds to react before several balls of darkness shot at him, aiming for his body. Izanagi dodged most of them, except one, which clipped him in the hip, bruising him.

Gritting his teeth, Izanagi looked at his family. They both seemed to turn on him. Izanagi understood Alyssandra, she had always had a deep resentment for him. Leilani on the other hand...Izanagi supposed she was only striking at him for his attacking her first. Also fair. Time to get serious. Izanagi needed to take out Alyssandra first. She was the bigger threat to his victory. Mustering all the energy he could, Izanagi blasted a Shooting Star towards her. The small white ball of condensed flame exploding as it reached Alyssandra's vicinity, engulfing her and part of the stadium in white flame.

Leilani's attack had hit, and she watched it hit after she watched Alyssandra go a step below murder and strike at Izanagi, her own brother, with black lightning. Alyssandra was willing to go to those lengths to win this tournament, and the crown too no doubt. She needed to go first. Izanagi understood that, and now Leilani did too. Then again, she didn't want to pick a side. No, Leilani was going to play this smart. Izanagi and Alyssandra would be too busy striking at each other to worry about her. They both wanted the other down first. Leilani was going to strike them both, back and forth, poking at them between the openings as they beat on each other.

She'd weaken them a little bit too, then once they were both weak, and one had downed the other, Leilani would swoop in for the proverbial kill and finish them off, winning the match. A good strategy. Looking at Alyssandra, who expected Leilani to be on her side, she shifted, lightning fast, and shot her hand out towards Alyssandra. As she did, spikes of darkness appeared from the ground, from Alyssandra's feet, aiming right for the princess.
