The 2nd Tenkaichi Bending-kai Tournament of The Elements Signups~
That's right, folks, we're holding another In Character tournament!
Now, everyone who wants to participate should sign up below, and include the links to the characters that they will be using for the tournament, and remember folks, only one character per user!
- Rules of Conduct:
1. All Offical Site Rules Still Apply, which means NO CHARACTER DEATH!!! Godmodding, Twinking, and Power-Play are out of the question as well
2. Elements : Your character may only bend ONE ELEMENT during the ENTIRE TOURNAMENT. That means if your character bends two elements or uses a Combination Element, they can only use ONE of the elements they know, and CANNOT USE ANY Combination Elements.
3. Don't Argue With Judge : Can't stress this enough. All Judging is final, however if you have questions about why, I'm sure we will answer this. Just no sassing me!!!!
4. Weapons Are Allowed : But they shall be randomly handed out to you by Mr.Showbiz and cannot be brought with you. It shall be a weapon your character is unused to, in order to make it fair. But please don't hack someone to death with these, Its a BATTLE OF THE ELEMENTS!!! If you have the ability to bend, please do. At least a little bit. For science.
5. Death : NO DEATH!! This is an In-Character tournament, HOWEVER, you cannot kill another persons characters. There will be no fatalities or finishers or any of that. Just like it's says above, no hacking people to pieces.
6. Applications : If it hasn't been applied for, or isn't in your app, whether its a weapon or an element, ANYTHING really, don't bring it into the Arena.
7. Fighting : If your character ignores an attack made by another player, your character gets automatically damaged, So Pay Attention! Also, don't disrespect the dice rolls!
8. Arena : There is a section that describes how the arena looks exactly, don't change it in your topic by bringing anything new in. Bringing in anything new to the arena will be considered twinkling or godmodding.
9. Tournament Levels : There are three tournament levels 1. Lightweight 2. Heavyweight 3. Staffweight [STAFF ONLY]. Each user may only have ONE CHARACTER in EACH of the weights and cannot enter a single character in more than one weight.
~Other Tournament Information~

2. Heavyweight - Grand Imperial Arena, Vermilion City, Vermilion Dragon Empire [Mainland]
3. Staffweight [STAFF ONLY] - Colosseum in the Sky, Northern Air Temple, Kingdom of the Four Winds
Damage Calculation, Attacking and Defending1. Lightweight - 100 HP
2. Heavyweight - 500 HP
3. Staffweight - 1000 HP
As stated above, any attack you ignore in your post, YOU WILL TAKE DEFAULT DAMAGE FOR ANYWAY. So in order to keep track of attacks and such, we've made an attack limit per post. Each post you are allowed ONE attack, and yes, a barrage of attacks still counts as a single attack because you will only use one damage calculator.
Which brings us to our next question! How do we determine blocking and attacking?
Like this
: So there is an attack counter. In other words, if you're attacking, you do a random number generator, how do you do that you ask? Simple! You type
- Code:
-
[rand]10[/rand]
. That number is important! That 10 will allow the generator to generate a number between 1 and 10. So when you attack, you put that random 1-10 generator at the BOTTOM of your post. That is your ATTACK POINTS.
Right below that, you put
- Code:
-
[rand](Put 35 if you're Lightweight, 50 if you're Heavyweight, 100 if you're Staffweight)[/rand]
and that will generate a number between 1 and whatever number you're supposed to put. That second number is your ATTACK STRENGTH and the amount of damage your attack will do if it hits.
How do you defend from these? Well if you're defending, before you post, post a single simple post with only
- Code:
-
[rand]10[/rand]
. That one post will determine the defender's defense points. If your DEFENSE POINTS, between 1-10, are higher than your opponents ATTACK POINTS, the attacker's number between 1-10, then you successfully block the attack. If the attack is blocked, the attack does NO DAMAGE, if the attack is not blocked, it does damage.
NO FATAL ATTACKS, NO KILLING EACH OTHER IS PERMITTED.
How are we deciding who falls into which category?DATES:
1. PRELIMINARIES - March 1st 12:00am to March 11th 11:59pm
2. TOURNAMENTS - March 12th 12:00am to March 27th 11:59pm
ANY TOPICS THAT ARE CONSIDERED UNFINISHED WITHIN A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME WILL BE DECIDED BY A JUDGE WITHOUT THE CONSULTATION OF THE ABSENTEE PARTIES.
Starting March 1st 12:00am, there will be a set of preliminaries that will determine who goes into which weight. Losers go to Lightweight, winners go to Heavyweight. Any topics that aren't finished by 12:00am March 12th, as you will have until the start of the preliminaries until then to finish, will be decided by a judge without the need for consent with the absentee parties and will be decided by terms of HP.
As for Staffweight, the top two staff members of the preliminaries will also move on--simultaneously--to the Staffweight tournament.
The official tournaments start on March 12th, 12:00am at the designated locations. Each tier of the tournaments will take place at once. For example, all the first rounds happen together, then all the second rounds happen together, quarter-finals happen at once, then all semi-finals, then all finals, etc. Each tier has 48 hours to finish up, with breaks between the quarter, semi and finals for resting up of characters and users. If you do not complete the topic in 48 hours a winner will be decided by a judge without the need for consent with the absentee parties and will be decided by terms of HP.
