Sudden Duel (Leosan, Loolaalee)

Yami looked at Leo nervously. He seemed a little off. The smile at the end seemed a little suspicious. Normally, after enduring something like that, a person's body is too weak, and often the person passes out. Yami knew about this from experience with the 5-tails. Whenever she regained control, she often times passed out, or at least collapsed. Something didn't seem right about him. Yami stayed on the horse, in case she needed to make a quick getaway. Fireball was sitting nearby, ready for anything. "Leo, you're sure you're ok?" she asked.

Kaia sat impatiently in the shop. The other people had all run out in a panic, so she was left alone in the building with Rose. "I hate waiting. Its so boring. I wonder if the others are having any fun." she said. Just then, Rafa flew into the building and perched on her shoulder. A message was tied to his leg. Kaia took the message and read it. She groaned. "Well, looks like I have some other business to take care of. It was nice meeting you!" she said to Rose, then rushed out of the building.

Leo sat on the ground a bit exhausted, "there is still a few more, i won't be able to move for a while," he said as he quickly fell asleep, the amount of energy he used up for the sphere and the dragon form was enough to tire five men.

Drago sighed as a dozen men, half beaten from leo's shockwave, stood up some still holding their weapons. "yami, get ready to see a small light show." he said firing a web like shot of lightning shocking the men unconsious. he looked around and saw only three or four out of the few dozens were dead, " i guess the soldiers can take it from here...." he put leo onto fireball's back, " what happened yami?" he asked her.

Yami spun the horse around. Drago's "light show" had given her an idea for his name. She smiled. "Lightning." she said, and patted the horse's neck. He shook his mane, as if he were happy about the idea. Yami then frowned as Drago asked her the question. "I'm not entirely sure. I was unconscious for part of it. But, earlier, when we set out to look for you, I realized that I had left the necklace in my cloak pocket, so I ran back to Leo's house to get it. When I came out, these men ambushed me, and kidnapped me. I'm assuming Leo followed them, because when I woke up later, he was fighting the leader." she said. Then she looked down at Lighting. "I was actually draped on this horse while I was unconscious. When I woke up, I took out the original rider and took control. Leo then allowed me to escape through a light dome he had made.

After that, I ran into town, looking around for you desperately. Unfortunately, you were still playing your little game, so I couldn't find you anywhere. But Fireball sniffed you out at that shop, so that's why I tried to...attract your attention. You know what happened from there. That's all I know." she said. She then reached her hand out to Drago. "Come on. Fireball can carry Leo just fine without dropping him. You can ride with me." she said.

drago grabbed yami's hand and got up onto the horse, "i hope leo doesn't fall off or he'll get angry...he doesn't like waking up from surprises." drago then wrapped his arms around yami's waist as the horse started running, he laid his forehead onto yami's back hoping to get there a fast as possible. Leo never tusted horses since they seem to always have a plan against him...everytime.

Yami blushed a little as Drago put his arms around her waist and pressed his forehead into her back. She just shook the feelings off, and looked over at Fireball. "Alright, boy, just get him to Leo's house. You remember where that is, right? Get there gently. Don't let him fall." Fireball immediately understood, and lightly took off, gliding more than flying as he safely made his way to Leo's house. Once Yami saw that they touched down safely, she grinned. She didn't bother turning back, and said, "Watch out. We like to go fast." and with that, Yami pulled the reins and spurred the horse. Lighting took off, reaching untold speeds in a matter of seconds, a much faster start up time than Fireball. Yami loved the feeling of the wind in her hair. She still had her hood down, so she called over the wind, "Sorry if my hair gets in your face, Drago!"

Drago smiled a bit, "i don't it mind Yami," drago said hugging her a bit tighter, "i'm just glad those goons didn't successfully kidnap you, unlike last time. yami keep going" he said as he let go and quickly jumped off the horse. he looked around, "i swore i head something..." he said as a man all covered in blood was slowly walking toward drago saying these words, "blood, kill, blood!"
Drago actually took one step back when seeing the man, he looked unarmed and skinny, but was it his blood or of others he couldn't tell his whole body was covered with blood except for part of his face.

Yami stared in shock at the man. She couldn't tell if he was one of the men from earlier because there was so much blood that she couldn't tell what he was wearing. But no...this man seemed to have gone insane a long time ago. It couldn't have been a person from earlier. That group was calm and organized, well sort of. But this man seemed to be completely insane, either a cold blooded killer or a victim of some terrifying attack. Either way, Yami stopped the horse, regardless of what Drago said. "Honestly, you think I will just leave you here alone? Besides, he's alone, how dangerous can he be?" Yami said. She didn't like the idea of leaving Drago alone. That was why most of the time, when he told her to run, she refused. She never liked the thought of him being alone in battle. If something were to happen to him, and she weren't around when she could have been, she would never forgive herself.

Leo took out his sword and looked at the man, "no it can't be!" he said over the blood was the same curse mark as his. "yami i said stay away!" he said ,"Now!" he screamed, "if he wasn't wrong the person he will fight could break an diamond wall barehanded...the most dangerous non-bender on earth. drago's body started to steam a bit as he fired a gold flame at the man until there was a huge sphere of flames around the man.
"he can't survive th-" before he finished his sentence the man jumped out of the flame and ran at drago, drago slashed at him however, his attack just bounced off as if he was wearing some kind of armor, "drago thought, "how can anyone be this strong? and wasn't he supposed to be dead 50 years ago from illness?" drago jumped back and looked at yami.

Yami's eyes widened in realization. When they had first met, Drago had told Yami about the last person who had been born with the phoenix curse mark. But that man died 50 years ago...right? In Yami's mind, there were two possibilities. One: The man faked illness and his death to make it seem like he was dead, therefore he would no longer be known as a killer and he could kill in secret or something. Two: There was a necromancy bender nearby, and he/she had brought this man back from the dead to fight Drago. Yami guessed on the second one. Even if the man hadn't died 50 years ago, he would still look a lot older than the man standing before them.

Yami sped off on Lightning, but not very far. She only went as far away as shooting distance, where she could freely shoot the man but not get hurt. She grabbed her bow and stopped Lightning, then stood in the stirrups. "Just yell if you want me to fire, Drago!" she called, nocking an arrow to the bowstring.
