Long Time Reunion {Bailey/Tarlof}

''I wouldn't dream of it'' takeda replied with faux indignity. ''I already paid. i want to pay. I want you and the kids safe.'' Takeda became pensive. ''lets just say you'll owe me a favor.''

Bailey smiled, "a favor? What kind of favor do you have in mind?" Bailey asked as she stepped closer to him. She wasn't sure what he wanted, other than for her to help find his father, but almost didn't care at the moment.

''Just a favor to be determined at a later date.'' he replied with a smile.

"Okay then. I guess I can agree to that." Bailey smiled as she kissed his cheek. Bailey realized that she couldn't stop smiling around him and it sent a flutter of butterflies through her.

''Wonderful'' takeda exclaimed chearfullywith a slight shake of his head. ''in the interim, what do you want to do?''

Bailey couldn't stop smiling as she looked at him. "Takeda, it's been so long since we've been together. I really just want to be with you right now." Bailey took his hand in hers and kept her eyes on him.

''Then tidy away anything you don't wish the carpenter to see,'' Takeda replied with a smile. ''Then we can go for a walk. together.''

Bailey nodded to him before turning to her desk and stacking up the letters, throwing them into a drawer, and going to seal the weapons cabinet. She turned back to him and smiled. "Shall we?" She asked as she reached for his hand.

Takeda took Baileys hand and wrapped her arm around his ''shall we go for tea, dearie'' he said as he opened the door.

Bailey nodded and followed Takeda out the door. She knew he meant going to get tea at their normal place, but she still felt as if somehow this time would be different. She smiled as she rested her head lightly on Takeda's shoulder while they walked, enjoying the moment. "Was it always this peaceful this early in the morning?" She asked as she looked around. Everyone around them were so busy getting on with their jobs that they barely even noticed the two of them walking.
