Water Borders

Mirra didn't realize that she had came to the end of the Northern Water tribe. She had been walking, and walking, and getting a boat, and others. She'd been traveling to nowhere she knew. Confused, Mirra looked around, and water benders were training. The water, shining against the sunlight, looked brilliant as it was carried away by the waterbenders, forming a move.
Mirra continued to watch as the waterbenders kept waterbending. It looked so magnificent.
The ground seemed to be happy with her, and she could almost feel it dancing under her feet. Mirra smiled.

Kota had been training some rookies for a few hours. He was craving something exciting...something new. He was focusing on a particular recruit, Genta. They were sparring with swords for hours, Kota besting him each time. He noticed the young Earth bender, and approached her. "Well, you're obviously not from here."He looked straight in to her eyes, giving a slight smile. "Might I ask, what's your name?

Mirra looked over at the person who talked to her. A waterbender. She didn't know anyone here. She couldn't trust anyone. She shook her head, but said, "My name's Mirra."
Her outfit made it pretty clear that she was an earthbender, no doubt that. But she couldn't believe why she had said her name to a stranger. Something told her he was okay to trust. She trusted her instincts.

Kota noticed immediately that Mirra was cautious of him. He stopped smiling, and looked away from her. "You are in the Northern Water Tribe, Mirra. As long as I am alive, nothing shall happen to you, or anyone else in the nation. Oh, and by the way. I am Kota Moronishi, Water Tribe General." He walked away from Mirra, ignoring whatever question she might have had. "You obviously Don't trust me, so I will leave you to...whatever you were doing." Kota moved his eyes with a gesture "follow me."

Follow him? Mirra wanted to hold back, but she also did want to go. She stiffly walked over to Kota. Then she realized that he said his own name. True or not, Mirra wouldn't have... Maybe. She looked around, and realized the fierce look went back in her eyes.
You can't be too patient in life, Someone had once told her.

Kota turned around to face the following Mirra. "Why exactly are you in the water tribe?", Kota whispered. She's just a little girl, Kota thought. She reminds me of myself when I was that age...Except she probably has a family...Kota sat down in a tiny bank of snow, crossing his legs and stretching out. "Not many earth benders come here, y'know. You've already gotten some strange looks." He looked in to her eyes again, smiling. ready to hear a long story; She had all of his attention at this point.

Mirra hesitated. She'd usually say something like, Well, I need to get going, and shut off the conversation. Mirra took a deep breath and decided to tell a portion of what had happened.
It felt so good to finally tell someone what she felt. She found herself telling him everything. She told him about her family, how her parents went away or died, and she left her grandmother. Then the feelings she'd felt while she was alone. Why she was never together with someone. How she loved animals. And what she felt.
She poured it all out, not minding now that she might not be able to trust him. As she spoke, she thought that if she might have stayed with her grandmother she might have never even lonely. But she wouldn't have had an opportunity.
She spoke clearly and didn't falter. "And that's... That's my story." She waited for his response. She didn't care what it was. The ground hummed a soft melody.

Drakous had just arrived in the water tribe area only a couple days ago. He had been exploring and learnign about their weapons here without mentioning that he was a noble from the fire nation. He held a bag over his back that held metals, he was happy that he was going to be going back to the fire nation soon. Stepping down, he saw a couple people on the snow bank. Going down to it, he noticed an earth and a water nation sitting there.

"Hello, I was wondering do you know any black smiths in town?" He looked at the young girl and pulled out a candy from his pocket with a sly grin on his face giving it to her.

Mirra inwardly glared and tried not to show it. She tossed a few pebbles and stood up. "I'm going." She announced, and looked at the person who spoke. She eyed the candy though, hungry.
She shook her head at the thought and walked forwards, not looking back. She stopped for a moment to wait for his response. No, you can't trust. Something told her.

Drakous looked at the girl feeling like he might have offend. "Sorry if I offended you." Drakous said sadly. He was kinda worried he might have caused some trouble. thinking about it he guess it was weird for him to offer the girl candy. His long green braid hanging over his right shoulder. "Sorry but I don't mean to...um I'm kinda lost I am from south kinda never been here. so would you mind please? I'll pay you."
