Elemental Kingdom: Elemental Kingdom Capital - Fire Nation District ~ Golden

~ KIHARU (advisor in training to the Fire Lord)

A young woman of about nineteen years old walked down the bustling streets of the Elemental Nation's Fire sector, drinking in the festive decorations all around her.

Kiharu was her name, and today she adored purple high heels with purple shorts and a fluttery lavender top. A lilac flower ornament held some of her thick, shoulder length hair back, and the girls chocolate brown eyes were currently fixed on rummaging through her purse.

Kiharu was here strictly on business. She'd come to check out the university she might want to attend here, although she doubted she'd actually pull through with it. She hated being so far from home.

Blinking, she pushed her thin spectacles back up her nose. She didn't usually wear glasses, but she had a cold and it worsened her eyesight. She hoped she didn't have to wear them for long.

Spying a passerby, she tapped them on their shoulder. "Hey," she said. "Do you know any good dojos or universities around here?"

A girl about 14 years old with pale skin, she was wearing a dark green jacket with a dark green tank top underneath, with long black pants, and black flats. Her black short cropped hair was the same usual style she liked it that way. She was taking in the festive decorations. She was a little walker she made no sound.

Rikka was this sole girl's name. Then someone tapped her on the shoulder. Rikka turned. "Hello. No I do not". Rikka answered.

Kiharu didn't let this disappoint her. The girl seemed young, but not much too younger than herself, and she couldn't help but smile at her.

"What are you doing here by youself anyway?" she asked.

"Uhm..I don't have any parents. So I go off by myself". Rikka said, looking down. She didn't remember her parents. She only remembered her foster home, and the mean people there.

"What about you"? Rikka asked.

Kiharu frowned, registering the sudden sadness in the girls eyes. "I was trying to find a university to go to once I graduate. I'm trying to become an advisor for the Fire Lord."

She fell into step beside the girl. "So, where are you going? Perhaps I can join you."

Rikka looked at the girl next to her. "I wish you good luck. Um I am not really going anywhere". Rikka answered the girl. "By the way what is your name, if you don't mind me asking". Rikka said.

This girl is nice. Maybe her, and I can be friends. Rikka thought.

"Kiharu," Kiharu replied simply. She noticed that she was a llittle taller than the girl. "What's yours?"

She couldn't help but socialize; it was in her nature. And this young girl seemed kind, even sweet. Kiharu was already starting to like her a lot. Eventually she let a warm smile spread across her face, considering taking the girl out to see some of the sights. She'd had a sudden strike of charity -- and who better to spend it on than a brand new friend?
