Finding the Water Warrior

Hisaki blinked as Hayato's arm draped over her. She couldn't help the blush that spread across her cheeks and the soft smile lighting across her face. Sighing softly, she put hers around his waist and fell into step behind him. It was much warmer this way.

But the embarassment! Hisaki stared at the snow, her heart thumping loudly in her chest.

Hideki smiled and leaned over to Hisaki kissing her cheek, he then whispered in her ear "No need to be embarrased" he said "If anyone says anything I'll be here to stop them, always"

Hisaki almost died. Her heart was thumping uncontrollably, and her face was crimson... I think I love you, her mind told her, but her voice caught in her throat.

"Oh!" She'd slipped on the ice and fell, sprawled on her back. "Oh..." she moaned, stumbling to her feet and rubbing her side.

"The snow," she said, ears turning pink with embarassment. "It... it's hard to walk on."

Hideki helped her up and helped brushed her off, he smiled and picked her up in his arms "I could carry you if you want?" he asked laughing "I wouldn't mind."

Hisaki let him carry her, her heart pounding so fast she was sure it was gonna explode. She buried her face in his chest, secretly wanting to breathe in his scent. He felt nice.

Hisaki swallowed. How could she be be falling in love this fast? It was wonderful.

Hideki walked for a bit, he felt Hisaki lay her head against his chest, he smiled and kept walking. "Any idea where the Warrior might be?" he asked Hisaki, he noticed her burry her face lovingly in his chest, he laughed and leaned in kissing her cheek "You know...I should probably admit this later but....I've always kinda liked you" he said smiling lovingly at Hisaki.

"Any idea where the Warrior might be?" Hideki inquired. Hisaki, grateful for such a distraction, thought for a moment. "Out and about, perhaps," she said. "The others except for Kiharu might just be searching the streets. I hope it occurs to them that she could be in a building, where we can't see her."

Then, Hayato said, "You know... I should probably admit this later but... I've always kinda liked you."

Hisaki squeaked, and then hid her face again. "Um... you too," she admitted, her mind drifting back to all the time she enjoyed them spending together as children.

Hideki smiled "You look cold, here" he said, he put her down and took off his jacket, then he placed it around her shoulders and picked her up again "There, that might help" he said. He was standing there in short sleeves in the snow, but he didn't care, Hisaki's smile and hapiness kept him warm.

Hisaki smiled softly and cuddled to him. "Thank you," she said. "Should we glance into a few of these buildings and see if we see her? I doubt we'd find her in only one day but still... maybe we'll get lucky."

Hideki smiled "Yeah sure" he said "I'm kinda hungry now that I think about it. Some food would be nice. Let's go"
