The Boys and The Girls

Hideki walked over to Hisaki and scratched the back of his head "You're doing a great job...we're heading for the Northern Water Tribe first...so keep that in mind" he said, there was a pause as he looked at her, he slowly went to put his arm around her, praying this would work.

Hisaki felt his arm around her and couldn't help but feel calmer. She leaned against him and relaxed a bit, glad their interaction was smoother than she expected. Admittedly, she'd had a crush on him for a while, and didn't know if he felt the same. At least now she could pretend they were together, even for just a --

"HEEY!" Kaon burst onto the bridge, her face flushed with anger. "CAN somebody spar with me? I need to calm down and looking at the ocean isn't helping at all!" she complained.

She pointed to Hisaki. "YOU! You spar with me!"

Hideki jumped and ran back to the wheel taking his arm from around Hisaki, a bead of sweat ran down his temple, he hoped Kaon didn't see. He decided to play it cool "Kaon" he said "It's not polite to talk to your sister like that...you should respect her, be more like a lady"

((OOC: LOL When I said Hisaki I meant Hideki! Silly me! Well, it fits anyway.))

Kaon slung her arm around Hisaki's shoulder and peered at Hideki slyly. She'd seen him standing unnaturally close to Hisaki but just assumed they were talking and thought nothing of it.

"Chill, Hideki, damn. Hisaki knows I love her."

Hisaki gave a shy, nervous little laugh.

"Besides, she was supposed to train with me anyway. Where the hell is Kiharu? She needs to train with us too. Or are you too busy, Hisaki?"

Hideki sighed and thought to himself 'You're not the only one who loves her either...' he thought 'And if I had two more seconds I could'v....well maybe next time'

Kaon waved a hand in front of his face. "Helloooooo? Do you need my sis or not? 'cause I'm going to take her myself."

"I...uh...well it'd be nice if she was here...but if you really want to take her I guess....I dunno" he said. He didn't want to seem clingy or needy, but he didn't want to be rude.

Kaon rolled her eyes. "You're so weird," she said, interlocking elbows with her sister. "I"ll give her back to you in a few hours at the least. Do you know where Kiharu is?" she asked.

"Um... she's studying..." Hisaki answered.

"Well, not for long," Kaon replied, heading out. "See ya, Hide boy!!!"

"Yeah see ya Kaon" he said "See ya Hisaki..." Hideki sighed "Next time....for sure" he said.

Sasavi was actually enjoying Kaji's company when Kaon came out of nowhere and sprinted down to the lower deck, screaming that she needed someone to spar with. "What's got into her? Or is she always like this?" Sasavi thought for a moment and decided that she would like to spar with Kaon, being a fellow warrior and all. Kaon came up with her timid sister Hisaki, and Sasavi stepped in their path. "Hey, if you don't already have a partner, I'll spar with you. As the other fire warrior, we should test our strengths."
