The Boys and The Girls

"Same here...the last time I was near the ocean...well I was a little kid...and no need to call me Kaji-sama..you know unless you want to" Kaji laughed a bit "No but seriously"

Sasavi laughed with him. "And so am I. Sorry I'm so formal, that's just me. I don't know you well yet.... So, Kaji-kun, why are you coming again?"

Kaji laughed "Kaji-kun huh? Well that's a start I guess" he told her smiling "I'm here...becuase Kaon and Hisaki are my cousins, besides we're close and I need to keep an eye on them because dad asked me too...I'm rambling again aren't I?"

"No, just expaining." She sighed and leaned against the deck, taking her sword off her back. It got rather heavy sometimes, and she was amazed that she could use it, and use it well. It was designed for her though.

"Nice sword....my father likes large weapons, he used to carry an 8ft katana" he said "I don't remember what happened to it...then again I don't really remember it that well"

Kaon sat at the center of the ships deck. Her body was still and rigid, and her eyes fixed pointedly in the distance. To any regular passerby, it'd appear as though she was sulking, but she was actually trying her hardest to meditate. Still, everything just kept pissing her off.

The rock of the boat. The screech of the seagulls. The damn water. The smell of salt. All of it she hated. ... And why the hell was she alone?

Suddenly she heard a light patter of footsteps. Glancing over her shoulder, she registered Hayato's broad frame. "'Sup?" she greeted.

Hayato smiled as he pulled out a pack of cigarettes. He pulled out a cigarette and held it in his mouth as he lit it with his father's lighter. "Hey" he said "How's it going?" Hayato felt his face turn red, he must've sounded so stupid.

Kaon rolled her shoulders experimentally, as if testing her limberness. "You already know; you were there," she told him, rolling her eyes. "Actually, enlighten me. I think I forgot some details. We're trying to find people, right?"

Hayato flicked his cigarette and puffed some smoke. "You should really pay more attention" he said "We're supposed to be looking for the other warriors"

Kaon sighed somewhat and lay down on the deck, red hair splayed in some kind of halo around her. She regarded Hayato with hard blue eyes. "How are we supposed to find these warriors anyway? And what am I supposed to do since I am one?"
