Young Love Is Blinder Than Old Love

"Not if you don't bug him...meaning stay away from the stables...you should either learn to get the dragons right, or don't come out here unless me or my siblings is with you" Sasuno'o started to walk away, this whole thing made him late for the meeting. "Annoying kids" he said under his breath.

Tsukaia stared after him, timidly shifting her weight to each foot. "Bye...," she whispered, glancing up every so often. Then she slowly started to walk away as well, her mind strangely cloudy and lightweight.

3 hours later, Sasuno'o finally walked from the meeting room. He was only 9 and his father was allready teaching him the ways of the Fire Lord. Sasuno'o walked through the halls of the palace. As he passed by the training grounds he could hear a scuffle behind him. He stopped and looked around, no one was there...but he couldn't be too sure, he pulled his sword and kept walking, attentive of his surroundings. He heard a scuffle again, he stopped and raised his sword ready to defend. "Who's there?" he asked "Answer or I'll kill."

Tsukaia stepped out of her hiding spot with wide eyes. Her silver hair fell somewhat into her eyes, which were brimming with uncertainty. "Um," she squeaked, rubbing her hands nervously. "Do you have anything I can help you with, Sasuno'o? Anything... at all?"

Sasuno'o looked at her suspiciously, but shrugged it off. "Well...I need to head over to the docks to get a package, I guess if you want you could come with me...and I need to head over to the blacksmith as well to pick up something for Tsukiyomi...you could come with me then too" he said.

Tsukaia forced herself to look nonchalant; she didn't want Susano'o to think she was a ditz and not like her anymore. "Okay."

The fell into step beside him, but took hesitant glances out of the corners of her eyes every few seconds. Did this mean he liked her now? All throughout her childhood, she always preferred Tsukiyomi or Amaratsu; Susano'o never shared nor did he want anything to do with her. And now...

As Sasuno'o and Tsukaia reached the busy streets of the capitol Sasuno'o stopped. He turned to face Tsukaia "The city is dangerous, stick close to me and keep to yourself, and don't go running off...and for the love of god don't touch anything" he said "Come on, lets make this fast."

Tsukaia nodded and walked as close as possible to him. Sometimes the outer layer of his outfit brushed her skin, and she half-expected him to turn around and slap her for straying too close. But his eyes stayed fixed on the task ahead of him. He didn't seem to mind her presence at all. ((OOC: No, Tsukaia. He's ignoring you.))

They made way for the coast, morning fading into afternoon, then dusk. Tsukaia was tired by the time Susano'o had his package, her feet and chest aching with effort.

She glared at the package dubiously. "Don't we have to get something else?" she wondered, speaking for the first time since their journey.

Sasuno'o looked at her, he forgot she was there. "Yeah we do" he said "Why are you tired?" he asked hoping to get rid of her here, of course he had a feeling she was going to follow him till this was over.

"Because... we've been walking for hours," Tsukaia told him. "My feet hurt, and I'm hungry and thirsty."
