Making a family

Kalini smiled putting up her books in order. "Maybe one day we can get you your own pet when we visit one of my father's farms." Kalini sat down patting the spot next to her. "We learn about each other maybe have some tea does that sound good?"

Anika walked over and sat next to Kalini. when the tea was served anika sipped her tea with poise and dignity. the tea was good and it was fun talking with kalini. she told her about the last 3 years at the orphanage and even went into her past with her parents, avoiding their deaths. after a while of talking anika blushed when her stomach rumbled

Kalini talked about her past what she could remember at least. She talk about her father's farms had she had to sell all but one to move here. Kalini let out a small giggle at the growl. "Come on little one time for dinner."

"ok" Anika said, still flush with embarrassment. She got up and got cleaned for dinner. She came out and slipped on her shoes. She turned and smiled at Kalini. "Ready."

Kalini cleaned up around the apartment making sure there was food for Aziz. Kalini smiled picking up her coin purse hiding it away. "Okay stay close to me I don't want you to get hurt."

When they left the house Anika slipped her hand into Kalini's. she wanted to make her happy with her so she stayed close. she was actually pretty excited. she had never actually eaten in the lower ring. she had explored it plenty but never more than a few blocks.

Kalini smiled walking into her work talking with a coworker before sitting down next to Ankia. "This is where I work most of these people are my friends."

"Oh, ok," anika said, feeling shy all of a sudden. she sat decently close to Kalini when one of her coworkers came up to take their order.

Kalini smiles wrapping an arm around the girl trying to calm her down. "It is okay I got you."

the waitress smiled at the shy girl.

"So Kalini," she said cheerfully, "who's the little one?"
