I dropped to the ground, the giant boulder flying over my head. I had a chance while the boulder was still flying. I shot flames from my feet, sending my flying directly at the girl's legs. Should I hit her, she would not only trip, but fall onto the fire trail that was forming behind me as I boosted across the ground.

The flames that the girl shot weren't even close to me. I actually laughed pretty hard. How could she miss?! It didn't matter now. I retaliated the attack by charging the girl with my staff. I wanted to place the attack right on her face. If it hit, that would great.

What the heck happened? One minute i'm flying at the girl, the next my nose is broken and bleeding everywhere, and i'm lying on the ground. That did not go as I planned it, but I didn't have time to delve on why. If I didn't counterattack soon, the girl would hit me again. I went for a simpler move: uppercut to the chin. With fire. What can I say? I really like fire! And from my position on the ground, she was almost directly over me.
