The Chi System! [NULL]

The art of moving, blasting, or changing direction of the air. The cheapest element to use, Airbending draws on one's free-spirited nature, light feet, and size.


AIRBENDING FORMULA: SCALE X 3 = CHI

The art of rebelling against water's natural flow, and creating a flow of one's own, be that through lifting water, changing its path, or using it to heal.
Note: Bending a total volume of water less than the size of the user costs no chi, as well as simply manipulating water's existing flow.

WATERBENDING FORMULA: SCALE X 3 = CHi
HEALING FORMULA: 5 Chi per inch of wounded flesh.
Bloodbending Formula: SCALE X 1.5 X 30, per post.

 


The art of shaping the earth, to the user's will. The ability to move rocks depends on one's size, strength, and an unbreakable will! To calculate how much Chi you've expended, just take how big the rock is, and compare it to your character's size. Say, earthbending master Yurusu wishes to call up a rock- not so hard. He is 6 feet tall, and he calls up a rock 3 times his size. We'd take those numbers, and plug them into the following formula:

FORMULA- Scale of rock to person's size (Twice your size would mean 2, three times would mean 3, so on.) X 4 = Expended Chi
Note- Small pebbles, and other things smaller than the person do not cost Chi to move, as the chi required to do so is negligible.

EARTHBENDING FORMULA: SCALE X 4 = CHI

One of the more costly of the basic elements, Firebending is the art of using flames to devastate a path forward.
Bending flames smaller than the user, or moving existing flames, does not require chi.

FIREBENDING FORMULA: SCALE X 5
LIGHTNING-PUPPETRY FORMULA: SCALE X 1.5 X 30 Per Person, Per post.

The art of taking elements of the visual spectrum, Light and Darkness, and manipulating them to one's will.

BASIC LIGHT/DARK BENDING FORMULA: SCALE X 2 (Note: This is for simply moving light or shadow.)
SOLIDIFIED DARK-BENDING / LIGHT-BENDING LASER FORMULA: SCALE X 4 (Note: For creating solid objects of Darkness.
LIGHT-HEALING SCALE: 10 Chi per inch of wounded flesh.
SHADOW-STEPPING SCALE: 10 Chi per 5 feet travelled.

The art of directly tampering with the spirit world, through appropriately-attuned chi.

SUPPORT FORMULA: 25% of your MAXIMUM Chi, per person. Reduces supported person's chi cost by 25%.
SUMMONING CHART:
Spirits under 100 - 5 chi points per post
Spirits from 101 to 500 - 10 chi points per post
Spirits from 501 to 1000 - 20 chi points per post
Spirits from 1001 to 5000 - 30 chi points per post
Spirits over 5000 - 40 chi points per post

Temporary Reanimation: 35% of your maximum chi goes towards the reanimated person, and it's 35% per animated person. This 35% becomes the reanimates persons chi, and can be restored. If the reanimated person looses all their chi, they return to ashes and die once more. Until the reanimated is stopped by any means, that 35% of your chi per reanimation is UNUSABLE even if your chi is replenished.

NATURE-BENDING FORMULA: SCALE X 7 (When causing plants to GROW, SCALE is applied to how big the plant WILL be, not how big it currently is.)
HEALING: 5 Chi per inch of wounded flesh.

The art of invading one's very thoughts, and replacing them with one's own intentions.

MINDBENDING FORMULA: (SCALE X 1.5) X 30, per post.
PERMANENT MIND-TRANSFERRENCE: Permanently cuts the user's chi pool in half.
