Hair: Nyla has dark brown hair that reaches a bit lower than her waist. Although it is naturally straight and sleek, due to all her constant braiding, it mostly appears wavy and sometimes dry.
Eyes: Although her eyes are average sized, her gray iris seems a bit larger than usual.
Height: 5'6''
Clothes: Nyla wears fine robes and dresses, mostly. Even when she's training her firebending, she still adores to wear them. She's usually seen prancing around in her dresses.
Skin: Pale white, smooth skin.
Body Type: Feminine, thin (and maybe a little frail) build.

|CHARACTERISTICS|

Personality: : Although Nyla might seem very fragile and emotional, Nyla is a very strong willed woman. She does not quit even when she knows the odds are against her. She’s headstrong, bold and stubborn if you push the right buttons. She’s both a klutz and a very forgetful person. She’s not good at making decisions but place enough pressure and she will provide. Impatient and silly are also words that describe her. She is not polite to people she does not like, but she is easy to get along with.

Brief History: Born and raised in Vermilion City, Nyla was raised with a silver spoon in her mouth. The youngest of two, and the only Daughter of the Ex-Minister of War Raegar Maako, Nyla was given everything as a child. She grew up in the best institutions, ate the best food and attended the best gatherings. Although her life was filled with expensive gifts and luxury, her family was far from perfect.

Nyla's mother ran away when she was just a toddler, she has barely any memory of her at all. Years of lies about her mother's untimely death filled the ears of the Fire Nation's people, but it was only a lie. The truth behind her mother still remained a secret that ate at Nyla every day.

Her father, still busy as a retired man, had paid to train Nyla in war and politics, in hopes of someday having her fill the spot he left in as Minister of War. However, this is far from Nyla's wishes. She had always wanted to master fire bending, an art her father forbid her to develop further. Through his eyes, bending was for men and while her eldest brother grew more and more in the art of bending, Nyla remained buried in books.

Recently, Nyla found out that her mother was actually an earth bender. She had heard rumors and read books about benders with parents from two different elements that could master both, but they were all put out as fantasies and lies.

Inside of her, a fire starter growing. A thirst for evolution overcame here. It was time for a change.
