Brief History: Yumi was born into a family that was respectful and large. Her father had traveled alot, and always brought something home for Yumi. Her mother was a very good waterbender, and her brothers were both very strong and very skilled in waterbending. Yumi was the only one who couldn't waterbend in her family. Her brothers often teased her and froze her food while she ate andother mean pranks. They eventually became old enough and were sent out to explore the nations. Aged 12, Yumi was the only child left. Her father had become her best friend, teaching her how to fight and handle a weapon. Then, a week before Yumi's 14th birthday, her father set off on a journey for a birthday present. They waited weeks, and weeks, and weeks. It's been 3 years now, and Yumi still has hope her father will come. Her mother had died of a disease, and she lives a lonely life doing the best she can to serve the northen water tribe.
