The question registered in his mind, but Deikan paid no heed to it. 'I need to know more... I need to know if I'm going in the right direction... I'll ask to see if he met the cook...' Deikan thought, before he took another breath. "Did you happen to eat any of the food? Did you meet the cook? I don't think he's hard to miss..."'I just need to know if the food was good, and whether the cook was scarred at all...'

This boy was very prudent about finding out information about this cook. His curiosity was poked enough to where he had a good understanding why he was finding this cook. The man was not stupid and when it came to constant questions he knew that this man knew the cook or was a family member. He seem to drift off like he was listening to the wind, like it was talking to him. His eyes seem to become eveloped in thought then he blinked," I remember many cooks, I never asked any names as it was not important to me. I did recall that one chief was moving to the Earth kingdom to cook for a noble family." he said as he finally broke the long silence.

"Though this cook being your family member or friend...no I have no clue."
"you could travel to the North Temple if you want but I will not follow as I..." he stopped as he seem to ponder off in thought one more time. A few seconds past to where it seem he was listening to the wind one more time.

" I have my reasons" he said as he broke the silence again snapping out from his train of thought.

Deikan's face fell. 'Maybe I'll have to go on my information I have,' He thought, 'I don't think I need to keep his identity secret anymore.' "I lost my family when I was very young. We were attacked by raiders. I can't remember much, but I do remember that it was my fault that my brother disappeared," Deikan looked down. He wasn't sure he could meet Jarlex's eyes. "I tried to look for him, but he was nowhere to be seen. Then, I missed a few years. I thought he was dead. Then, after completing my training I heard of a cook in the Northern Air Temple, whose skill was unrivalled. Scarred down his left side, with mismatched eyes and hair. Just like my brother, minus the scarring." Deikan sighed. "I have to find him."
