Prelude to a Quest (Closed)

"I guess you might be Lady Motie from the Fire Nation. Greetings!" said Ryu as ceremoniously bowed. "I was here talking with your friend, Tiki, about you. I was wondering would you mind telling me you last name? it would be extremely helpful if you could give me you last name" Ryu finished as he look into this girls eyes.

"I'm just a noble's daughter,last name is O'hmyr."Motie said smling as he bowed to her.She thought is was funny.Her attention then went back on Tiki.Her eye widen as Tiki took her into a hug.And then soon realeasing her.


"Tiki look!"Motie said as she stood on her hands.


"Ok?"Tiki said thinking it was stupid because she already knew how flexiable Motie is.But then Motie moved her left leg having it move fast,starting lightning,then Motie put it onr the ground fast,having it crash into the ground,braking the ground into a million peaces.


"That's great!But have you learned how to fire bend again?"Tiki asked.Motie rolled her eyes as she shook her head.


"Now show me your moves!Please!"Motie said.

"Motie, may I talk with your father?" Ryu interrupted her before she destroyed something else. "I believe he might know something about the Lost Relics I'm looking for." Ryu explained. "You see, some spirits have cursed my family and this lost relics might be the only way out."

"It may surprise you but i believe your father and I are some how related" Ryu continued. "Could it be posible to talk with your father?"

Motie looked at Ryu strangly,then shrugged.She didn't care,her dad was a noble that could stand up for himself."FATHER!"Motie bellowed.Everyone stopped,but then a path way cleared for a big and tall man who approached.He asked his daughter what was wrong.She pointed to Ryu.

Ryu was starting to sweat. That "Father" was enormous! His legs started shaking in fear. He tried to calm down taking a breath. "This shouldn't be difficult." He thought "after all it just a relative.

"Allow me to introduce myself, Sir. I'm Ryu Okita from the Okita Clan. I believe you and me are somthing like third cousin twiced removed" He explained as he moved his hand in the air. "I believe you might know something about one of the relics, the weapon, a sword maybe?. Am i right?

It was peaceful, the wind, the smells, the market it self was intoxicating. The people talking amongst themselves as they walked around going along with their peaceful day. He was sitting down on a bench just watching the people move by with their lives. His eyes scanning each and every person, taking a personal note of what they wore, how many hidden weapons he could see, and also how many pickpockets in the crowd he could count. Each note he collected formed into a list on how he should proceed with his next move, even if his next move was to just enjoy the art each tender was showing off to the crowd.

The art was his Achilles heel, he loved art.

He sat upon the bench till a loud noise broke his concentration, his eyes moving quickly to his left as he watched a group of kids talk amongst themselves. He looked upon the nervous young man and the other two girls. The boy was obvious a man of the book, a scientist maybe. These conclusions only brought upon the demeanor of the lad, the women with face paint, a blond. A warrior, women of most likely great earth bending talent, to avoid if he wanted to be invisible to the public. Than there was a young girl, young in the art of bending an element as she was wild and out of control with her abilities. She caused more destruction then controlling her own talent.

A few moments later and the young girl yelled out, as the crowd that was growing from watching the crazy child. A tall man than walked through the crowd as he obviously was the girls father. Red X narrowed his eyes as this was a noble, he got up immediately and turned and began to walk away quietly. He knew where if a noble came by, a guard was soon to follow and with a guard than there is a chance his identity would be discovered.

Red X had to keep a low profile at all costs....

"Father I have no clue what he is saying."Motie said shaking her head.


"Oh and Tiki came!"She pointed to Tiki,who bowed at the site of the noble.Motie's father rubbed his chin,he wasn't sure.He shook his head.He knwe nothing,all the family wisdom and relatives to remeber was all in his grandmother.He knew nothing of the relics."I am very sorry young man but I think that has to be talked up with my grandmother,now I am sorry but I have to leave."He said as Motie hugged him.He hugged her back and walked off slowly.

"Grandma Yahyah!I know where she is!"Motie said grabbing one of Tiki's fans fast.

Ryu was relived. Finally he was making some progress. An elder one should've know about what he was looking for after all that relics were lost a long way ago. He looked at Tiki and Motie smiling.

"Show me the way young girl! I got a feeling that i'll achieve my goals soon" He said as he followed Motie.

Motie laughed."OK!"She said doing a hand stand,walking on her hand sto lead the way.Tiki was confused,she didn't understand what was going on.She followed too but tapped on Ryu's shoulder.


"Relics?Curse?Exlpain?"She said braking it all up.

Ryu started talking as he followed Motie "Let me explain you my dear Tiki. My father recently due to a curse some spirit cast upon my family. The Sages told me that only through the recovery of Okita Clan's relics my family would release from this spell. From the information i've gathered at the library there are 4 relics. One is a weapon, maybe a sword. Other one might be a ring but the scrolls are not clear. Some of them seemed pure delution, while other one seem more trustful. It's not easy to tell what is fact and what is fiction. So i can't really tell you more since this is all i know"

Ryu conclued his tale while they were getting closer to Motie's grandmother and Ryu's third cousin thrice removed. He was getting closer to the fulfillment of his duty. A thrilling sensation runned through his body. Motie seemed to stop "Are we there, Motie?"
