A Royal Ransom

Hitanami leaped off the dragon, eyes already going wide at the sight she beheld before her. The first thing that registered to mind was the crowned prince of the Light Kingdom, bound and bloodied on a pillar. Beside him was Dianne -- practically a big sister to her.

Rage filled her immediately. Her body glowed, skin becoming hot with rage. The intensity of it all caused the dim room to light up considerably.

Raiden felt sweat pass down his temple as Shinjiro struggled to fend of the pole. "Get...your...ass...moving...idiot!" said Shinjiro through gritted teeth. Raiden pulled his Katana, and his roll of chain. He grasped the wound up chain in his hand, and held his Katana ready to fight in the other. Raiden took a look at Hitanami, making sure she was ready to free-Raiden stopped and ground his teeth. "Dianne!" he shouted under his breath. He was ready to jump to her side but was stopped by Katsuro. "Focus, Raiden," he said calmly "You wont be of any help if you rush in there without thinking. Let Hitanami take care of Kenji and Dianne. Our job is that guy." Raiden trembled with rage as he saw Dianne's state "But-!" he was cut off by Shinjiro. "Idiot!" he roared, almost at his limit "Think of how good kicking that mother fuckers ass will be! Now get your legs and ass going! I can't fucking hold this thing here all day you jackass!" Raiden closed his eyes and focused, Shinjiro and Katsuro were right. Like always. Raiden raised his sword and looked to Katsuro "Give the orders Cuz," he said. Katsuro nodded, he examined the scene, and from what he saw he had a good idea that there opponent was extremely powerful. 'Judging by that arm, I'm going to assume he's multi-range fighter. He can use it at close range, and can probably bend too. Not mention the shoot of the hand thing....he can get a good range...probably 50ft...my guess. He can also use that hand for alot of momentum and calateral damage to the surroundings of his target and to grab things for a two part attack....something tells me he's not going to be easy to take down. Distract, yes. Beat, no way. Not without back up...or at least dad."

Katsuro sighed as he straightened up. He whispered over to his cousins "Raiden and me are going in first. Raiden try and get him with your 7 Binding Chains. If you can't get him bound and tied up in 20 minutes resort to the 7 Piercing Chains understand?" Raiden nodded and reared to charge. Shinjiro who had finally gotten enough strength and rage to force off the pole looked at Katsuro "And me?" he asked. Katsuro smiled "You're on our backs." Shinjiro sighed as he lit a cigarette and started smoking "Of course," he said "Run on ahead, I'll catch up like always." Raiden laughed "Don't get whiny on us now, Shinjiro." Shinjiro ignored him.

Amatsu smiled and laughed as he saw the three cousins ready to attack. Retracting his arm with a clank he raised it, ready to fight. "Bring it," he said "I haven't fought a decently strong human since Fire Lord Lee." Katsuro, seemed unmoved with the news. He was ready to expect anything from this man, and the fact that he had fought his Great Great Great Grandfather didn't change anything. "Ready?" he asked his cousins, they nodded in response. Katsuro smiled "Go!" he shouted. The three boys jumped and charged at Amatsu, ready to fight.

As Raiden, Katsuro and Shinjiro conversed (argued?), Hitanami made a mad dash to the pillars, crimson hair flying out behind her. She made her way to the prince first -- obviously he was more in need of her help. Kenji was battered and bloody, prominent stab wounds marring his tanned complexion. It made her seethe with anger at the mere sight of him, and then the look of utter horror and relief in Dianne's eyes.

"I got'cha," she told them, softly, scissoring a hand through the hard metal like butter. She glanced over her shoulder, her body rigid with uneasiness. How could she get this far untouched? Then, her cousins charged, and she knew this was her true chance.

Kenji fell like a rock once all his binds were severed. He was so heavy in her slim arms ... almost too heavy. Hitanami managed to ease his dead weight to the floor, then drag him alongside the pillar. His body leaked copious amounts of blood ... what should she do?

Katsuro drew his sword and swung it down on Amatsu, who blocked with his mechanical arm. Raiden smiled as he ran around behind Amatsu and raised his hand, a chain was coiled tight around it. As he raised his arm he shouted, "Seven Binding Chains!" Instantly, seven chains erupted from Raiden's arm and shot at Amatsu. Amatsu grunted as he jumped, shifting the weight in his arm and forcing Katsuro's sword away from him and landing behind Katsuro, who yelped as the seven chains wrapped tightly around him, refusing to let go. Katsuro glared at Raiden as Raiden simply bowed his head in embarrassment. Amatsu scoffed overconfidently, and barely had time to dodge a knife that just grazed his masked cheek. Amatsu jumped back and turned to face his attacker. There stood Shinjiro, his trench-knives raised and ready to attack. A smoking cigarette in his mouth, "Don't think you're getting off that easy," he said smiling "Cuz you still need to take care of me. You may have taken out my little cousins, but you haven't even begun to see my skills." Amatsu glared at Shinjiro, this was a fight he couldn't prolong.
