Strangers In the Night

Raiden smiled and kissed her cheek "Anything for you" he said "Let's go"

Dianne followed Valian down to the nurseries, often asking inquiring questions about the paintings and tapestries aroudn her. By the time they reached their destination, Dianne had a sense of detachment from where she was.

Learning to navigate this palace was going to take forever.

Dianne peaked in, then tiptoed to one of the elegant cribs in the room (they didn't have a kiddie bed for him yet). Renn was sound asleep, his thumb poked in his mouth adorably. The golden brown cowlick over his forhead added an extra touch of adorableness. Dianne leaned over and gave him a tender kiss, before slipping back out the door.

"Okay, I'm satisfied," she said, patting Raiden on the shoulder as a subtle 'Thank You'. She started walking. "Let's just walk," she told him. "We don't even have to go anywhere special. Bet'cha I can stay awake till morning." She stuck her tongue out, her gown slightly bouncing with each step.

Raiden smiled and kissed her cheek again, he put his arms around her waist and kissed her passionately, he couldn't just resist around her. "How about...we go for a little swim?" he asked her "I know a great place"

Dianne returned the kiss, stringing her fingers through his hair. She gave a warm, almost drunken smile, and swung herself into her arms. "Take me there!" she commanded joyously, practically slung from around his neck.

Raiden smiled and picked her up. They walked through the halls and to a small golden bathing pool. Raiden removed his armor and his shirt, his well built form reflecting some of the moonlight. Raiden hoped into the pool, water running down his muscles from his hair as he surfaced "Come in...the waters perfect" he said.

Dianne glared down mockingly at the water. "But I don't have a swimsuit!" she cried teasingly, pacing along the edge. "I'll be soaked! Not to mention my hair --"

She let out a rather loud shriek as her foot slipped, sending the girl a good foot below the water. She surfaced, spitting out a steady stream of water, and couldn't supress the glare she had to send Raiden's way.

"Oh ... " she mumbled disappointedly, swimming over to him. "I was hoping you'd drag me in but ... obviously that didn't work out."

She smiled. "And what's up with the pool, huh? I thought Firebenders -- wait, what exactly kind of Bender are you?"

"Spirit and Fire...I'm half cat you could say" he smiled and put his arms around her "You look amazing when you're wet you know that?" Raiden smiled as he looked into her eyes....they drew him in, greenish brown, they were like two large orbs...that just drew in your attention.

Dianne blushed and gave him a feathery kiss on his forehead. "Wish I can say the same for you, Big Guy," she teased, gently prying herself from his grasp, then wrapped her arms around him.

She seemed to think for a moment. "You just look ... sweaty," she concluded after a moment. "Except ... warm and clean."

Raiden smiled and gave a small laugh "Oh shut up" he said "I was trying to compliment you, don't ruin the moment." He heard her comment "Sweaty?" he asked laughing "You have a very strange mind Dianne...but that's why I love you I guess."

Dianne smiled. "Of course. You have no choice but to love me." She held up two fingers and 'walked' them up his finely toned chest. "So, tell me more about the kind of Bending you use. It sounds pretty unique, and we got all night."

Her fingers paused under his jaw, then she caught a lock of his hair and twirled it around her fingers, humming to herself.
