A fishing trip. (open)

Mei looked at her fishing rod. A wooded rod the wood starting to fade and the line was not so great, also her hook needed a good sharpening. Mei sighed and looked at the muddy path. It was a heavy rain last night. Her feet were caked with mud and she and her feat had a long way to go. Mei saw the long path starting to become shorter and shorter. Then Mei saw someone in the distance and they were staring at her wonder the same thing she was who are you. The pendant talked to her, 'Approach that girl she will help you don't be shy.' the voice faded away and the stranger started towards her.

Luna looked at the girl standing in the rode and thought, finally someone to go with I have seen no one at this lake in a very long time. Luna walked towards the girl getting a clearer picture she was carrying a sack with her rod food and bait. She had brown short hair and brown eyes. Luna walked closer sensing the girl was a bit nervous. "I am Luna Aki, who are you?" Luna asked looking in the girls brown eyes.

"Hi Luna," Mei said looking in Luna's dark blue eyes. "I am Mei Tong, I am just going to the Shang Kan lake just down the road. Want to come with me?" Mei said looking in her deep blue eyes again.

"I would be happy to." Luna said. " Want to head down there now I have a tent and spark rocks just in-case we want to do a night trip." Luna looked at the muddy rode and saw her shoes were not up for it. Luna took her shoes and put them in her pack. Mei and Luna started walking down the long stretch of road together.

Mei saw the lake ahead still nice and blue. It's a secret lake barely anyone knows about it or ever comes to it, but is has the best fish. "Luna there is a nice patch of ground over there," Mei said pointing to non wet earth just a bit ahead of them. "It is shady and we can create a fire I brought some dry fire wood." Mei pulled out the fire wood and showed it to Luna.

Luna smiled "Good all the wood around here is damp this dry wood is very good." Luna said. Fire minutes later they were at the lake. The sun shimmered on the water birds sat on the other side watching some of the jumping fish waiting to strike. "I'll work on the tent and you build the fire." Luna said and handed Mei the spark rocks and some hay to sat the embers to burn faster. Luna was great at making tents she had to make them many times before. In 10 minutes the tent was done the blue tent was set up and the tarp was a blanket, no rain was going to come in the next week. "Mei are you done with the fire?" Luna called to her.

Mei heard Luna call to her "Mei are you done with the fire?" "Yes, I am done." Mei called back to Luna. Embers were crackling in the fire. Mei kept a close eye kindling it. Mei grabbed dry grass to keep the flame burning on the wood.

Luna walked out of the tent to see Mei watching the fire and gently kindling it. "We should get our rods out so we can have dinner soon." Luna said. Luna pulled out her steel rod with a sharpened hook and a tight line, with fresh bait. Luna cast her line is the open water and said "Ready to put your line out?"

Mei nodded pulling out her rod. The rod was wood, the line was old, the hook is not sharpened, and the bait is old. 'Ask Luna to sharpen your hook, strengthen your line, and for how to get fresh bait.' The voice said in her head. Mei looked at Luna and asked "Can you tighten my line, sharpen my hook and show me where to get fresh bait?" Mei asked feeling sorry she asked so much.

"Sure!" Luna said happy to help out. "For your hook create a ball of dark energy and try to sharpen it. In the end it will be very sharp. To tighten your line I will need your line add some of my own line, don't worry I have brought extras."Luna said as she pulled out her line and fused them together to create a strong line. "With freshest bait you can use ordinary worms or creatures caught right from this pond." Luna took out a piece of bread and a jar. Luna put the bread in the jar and let water flow in within seconds tiny fish were nibbling on the bread then when most creatures were in the jar Luna quickly picked up the jar with the water still in it and closed it. "Pick any creature from this jar."
