3rd Tenkaichi Bending-kai | Preliminary Round | Match 3 – [#21] Kuma vs. [#4] Ieyasu

Ieyasu's last attack missed, and Kuma caught the spear, tossing it aside. Ieyasu grinned, stood up, pulled the ice spikes from his body and used his Water Bending to close and heal the wounds. With a grin, he watched as Kuma created an ice sword and charge at him, aiming right for his body. Ieyasu laughed, revelling in the challenge, and recreated his ice spear. He blocked the sword strike with is, bounced it back, putting space between him and Kuma.

With a flash, a twirl, a flare and spin, followed by an immediate thrust, Ieyasu aimed his ice spear right at Kuma's shoulder, hoping to slow down further attacks. Ieyasu was a master of the spear and shield. He didn't have his usual shield to accompany him, but that only upped the ante.

Kuma almost cursed as his attack was blocked. Still, the man had made an interesting decision. A spear, again? It was almost as if he were trying to be predictable. Kuma simply stepped to the side, the spear and the man moving past him on the follow through of the stab. Kuma grinned. The man had left himself wide open.

Kuma stabbed his sword at the man as he moved past. Hopefully, he would at least hit an arm or a leg. Aiming was difficult with how fast the man was moving, as he had put a lot of power into the stab. The torso, however, would be the prime target.
