Northern Water Tribe: Tekara Returns

"I'm still sore..." a young woman groaned, kneading her thighs painfully. Tekara was to turn eighteen that winter, but she already felt too old to be traveling this way.

The luxury cruiseliner's railing she leaned against was pleasantly cold against a skin of her hands. For a moment she'd slipped off her mitten to feel it, to revel in the iciness of it all.

The rest of her bore a heavy fur coat, surprisingly unconfortable against her fevered skin. She slipped off her hood and sucked in the sweet nighttime air. Such coldness should've burned her throat, but it was soothing. Her hair, still shoulder-length and as brown as chocolate, pulled into a short ponytail at the top. The rest of the strands hung down to brush her shoulders.

She hadn't been this tired since she'd first started her training. Just after the battle was over, she knew she needed to return to Kiari as soon as possible. Who knew what kind of trouble that boy could've gotten in without her? He was like... a magnet for negative situations.

"We're reaching the Northern Water Tribe," a voice boomed over the intercom. "Please get ready for your depart."

Tekara shifted her duffle-bag from her clenched, mittened right hand onto her shoulder. She filed off the boat with the rest of the passengers.

((OOC: Is this post going to be 20 yrs later?))

((It was during the original time, but I'm debating on whether we should drop it or continue it. Pain said when the time skip came to drop everything, so that's what I'm leaning towards.))
